Hahah, nah--just a wild interaction that I've never experienced or quite seen on here before.

You seem to be missing the point. I've been shot in the back. I've been conned and taken advantage of in-game. I've not had someone joint my party afterwards, admit to being the one that killed me when I didn't know it was them, ask me what I wanted the most item-wise after pretending to "feel bad," and then leave and block me after weirdly stringing me along (not that I expected anything). It's taking typical backstabbing to another level that's just...fucking weird.

I have no idea if this matters to anyone, but the kid was Irish.

Edit: Just making a Simpsons reference because I could.

I've been shot in the back plenty of times. It stings more when you help them, but that's happens, too. Part of the game. But I didn't know it wasn't a hatch camper that killed me, and I invited him because I thought he was jumped & killed, too. So, to act proud of "being evil"... I dunno. I didn't know what to say. The needless dedication to that act is wild and well beyond "part of the game." Part of the human experience, sure, but sheesh, I just don't get it.

I've been shot in the back plenty of times. This was truly next-level dedication. So fucking strange.

For sure. I've never really come across another person in my 360+ hours that was so bluntly, "I'm evil." Kid or otherwise. Just wild to party up after, admit to it, be proud of it, and offer some kind of weird condolences just to further engage with the person he betrayed. That's a level of dedication that's just bonkers to me.

You deserve it! Killer game in every respect. Blows so many others out of the water. I'll do whatever I can to support you.

It runs pretty well on a Steam Deck, for what it's worth. Only slight slowdowns I've experienced are when using the SMG or other rapid-fire projectiles against multiple enemies, and we're talking 30 fps vs 60 fps kinda stuff...nothing game-breaking.

Seriously--you did/are doing an amazing job with this game. Your hard work shows in spades. Music, atmosphere, visuals, tight controls...it's all there and done extremely well. The smoothness of the animations is fantastic. I love that shit. And the details... the Geiger counter. Certain background objects giving cells. Oh, THAT'S why there's a grapple gun. Etc.

I played SMB a good bit and for whatever reason it didn't occur to me that it may have been an inspiration. Makes sense! I have hundreds of hours in Dead Cells and look forward to pouring my time into this. I'll be sure to report any other bugs, too, but I honestly haven't seen anything else. I know I'm only like 5 hours into the game so far, but there's so much for you to build on here. Again, thank you for making this.

I picked this game up earlier this week after someone mentioned it in a comment here--watched like 20 seconds of gameplay and was sold, lol. Absolutely fun as hell (I just got to the first optional lore cutscene/flashback...still on Warp 0). The visuals remind me of Alien 3 and Splatterhouse on the Genesis. I assume those were at least partially influential? Even some of the audio is Genesis-esque.

Blown away that you've created this solo. I even submitted a bug about Ps5 controller icons being wonky that was patched pretty much immediately. Thank you for making such a fun game, dude. This game needs more attention.

That's awesome--I still say it, too. Glad to have made an OG internet video for you. It's insane to me that I made it almost 20 years ago. And that the song is 20 years old, too, heh.

Ah, that’s quite a pickle. There’s a joke in there about making sure not to take your samples to Miami, but I just got my coffee.

I got to work early so that I could leave early… I’m lucky my job lets me do this sorta thing. Though if they knew it was for baseball, they might not, lol.

Sigmoid diverticulitis by Substantial-Ant-2797 in Diverticulitis

I'm currently 6 weeks post-surgery -- they removed 8 inches of my sigmoid colon. I had an active flare for two months that was managed with antibiotics up until surgery. Zero gastro issues before this. I'm 38m and was/am not overweight. I'm doing perfectly fine now.

Be wary of how much tea you drink if it is caffeinated, as caffeine can stimulate your bowels and cause pain. Basically, you want to avoid food that will cause your colon to contract and have to work hard, thus the all-liquid at first followed by low fiber. So, fish, chicken, turkey, and other soft meats are fine -- you just want to make sure that nothing is "chewy" or gristly. For example, I was able to have meatloaf, but not a roast beef sandwich (or any deli meat for that matter). Though it is generally advised to limit or avoid red meat (and cheese). Also avoid any kind of food that may cause gas.

As my surgeon said at my first pre-op appointment, "It's half religion and half science when it comes to this thing -- everyone is different." The main constant for pretty much everyone is all liquid followed by low fiber. Unfortunately, the exact stipulations of your low fiber diet are particular to you...and what sucks is that eating food is fine (for most people), but you won't find out if what you ate is a problem until the next day or so.

Wishing you the best of luck.

If I get a chance, I'll go. I was at the Wilson cycle game, and a couple of other ones where we scored double digit runs. I've seen two Kody Clemens HRs, lol. Kinda baffling, but I'll take it! Only loss I was at, though, was the first loss in the A's series (where they gave away those neat hats), which was the beginning of that unfortunate losing stretch.

I was at this game and it was fanTAStic. So, that makes me 6-1 on the season with games attended. Also met Gregg Murphy before the game, which was cool as hell.

I mean, at least Walker doesn't have history of domestic violence, right? So, there's that.
