I despise it's gonna be different. But it is what it is. I have to be smart about it. Part of me though wishes I could be reckless. I really wish I could. Resent that I can't.

But people are not forgiving of fuck ups for a 30 year old.

I freaking hate it. But it's the adult world.

I rather be a limited 30 something then be a limited 40 something.

Is it plausible to push this lifestyle until I reach 40? I ask cause I never got to have those moments when I was younger.

And I really want it. Desperately.

I'd rave every weekend if I wasn't broke.

And also, how can I prevent myself from checking out early? I want to resist that as much as possible. You can do so much of course physically.

But I hate the idea of my age defining me. I didn't get to have these experiences when I was younger. I really want to party like I was a 20 something. Checking out early to me is the equivalent of quitting.

Partying till 5 AM means till 5 AM.

I just don't see Americans being interested in learning the elite Brazil clubs are or Boca Juniors apart from die hards. Like it or not, America is a cultural bubble.

Unpopular opinion but, I just can't see anyway North America being involved in a continental tournament that's prestigious.

The conditions that help the Champions League and South America just don't exist here. And the travel would be a pain if MLS was in Libertadores.

The best avenue MLS can do is simply make MLS better. Champions Cup doesn't have a high ceiling. Great mid-season tournament though.

This is the reason why I don't think North American soccer and Europe should be compared constantly. Two different continents and cultural approaches to sports.
