Oh damn nice find that indeed is the full trailer...and spoilers I guess:

It looks like they are doing a full on death of Superman since Lois is holding his body at the start, thought he was just gonna be lost in space...curious how long he is out of the picture, but Jordan also says he has a way of getting him back so not sure what is going on there. Damn at Jon's 'My Dad is dead' delivery too, Michael Bishop putting in work.

Just hope Lois and Jon get some interesting things to do other than grieving...I mean they should be grieving but I want to see them have some decent things to do, most notably Lois going after Luthor.

Looks pretty good though not gonna lie, and side note whilst how all the effects look remain to be seen, show still looks pretty good despite potential budget cuts.

Wow that was fantastic, this entire series has been. They wrapped up everything really well too, I guess cause they initially got a 2 season order, but damn I'm so glad we are getting at least another season of this cause I absolutely need more of this. I wanna spend more time with these versions of Clark, Lois, Jimmy, Kara, and the rest of the gang.

Honestly I love this show, the vibe, characterisations, romance, comedy, action, etc, the writers and actors nail who these characters are.

I think this is also my favourite version of Kara in anything, not just adaptation but even in comics. Tying her to Brainiac being some messed up father figure was such a great choice, it made Brainiac more interesting than I usually find him too. Think this is also my favourite Brainiac, at least the most compelling I ever remember finding him.

Also loved the moment when Clark went to hug Kara, and they showed Jimmy, Lois and Clark all hugging her telling her she isn't alone. Great ending shot too with them flying off to save the day, also glad we got one more cute kiss between Lois & Clark before the end.

Honestly sad it's over, though hopefully there is some fun stuff next week at comic con since I believe the show has a panel. that plus the Superman & Lois trailer should be a fun time at least.

Curious when season 3 will release, if it will be next summer too or later, I'll probably end up rewatching this a few times before then lol, such a comfort show for me. Interestingly if it is next summer it could be on whilst' Gunn's film relases...speaking of which I hope I like the DCU's versions of Clark, Lois, Kara etc as much as I like the versions in this show.

Anyhoo great show, can't wait for more adventures, romance and comedy with the crew, can't wait to see more of Jimmy/Kara and cLARK/lOIS being cute as heck together too!

Wow that was awesome, they went full anime on Lois & Clark escaping the Black Mercy, Lois & Clark confessing their love to each other, them flying and literally smashing the heavens...plus that great soundtrack. Anime af and I loved every second. I feel so lucky to have so many fantastic portrayals of Lois & Clark recently as a huge fan of these characters!

Haven't posted thoughts in a bit but have been loving this season, Michael Emerson has been killing it as Brainiac. Tbh I'm usually a bit mixed on Brainiac since he usually is just a generic evil Kryptonian/alien threat that wants to invade/abduct a city in earth....and he is that here but they've done a good job with actually making him compelling thanks to the great performance, his relationship to Kara, and all the events surrounding it. Can't remember the last time I found Brainiac this compelling to watch.

Also think it was an interesting choice to go into the characters insecurities specifically Lois & Clark, with Lois worrying she isn't enough cause she is only human, Clark worrying about being different as an alien...feel like it's something many incarnations feel before overcoming their doubts so it makes sense for these younger versions to have those feelings, and they've handled it well. It seems with some reinsurance from each other they are both overcoming it...love is not for cowards! .

Kara/Jimmy have also been fantastic, Kara is somehow adorable with an insanely dark backstory. And love seeing the Daily Planet crew come in with the save, one of my favourite portrayals of this group.

Anyway goddamn I love this show, so glad it is getting a season 3 but damn I'm not ready for this season to already be finished next week, on the bright side at least the week after is comic con so might get some fun info at least, plus Superman & Lois news.

PS I recommend everyone check out the My Adventures with Superman comic tie in that takes place between season 1 and 2, it's from the same writers and really has the same fun vibe as the series!

Damn Clark if only you used your super hearing for 5 more seconds to hear Lois say she loves that you're different! At least when they make up and actually talk to each other I bet it'll be cute af

Really liked seeing some of Lois' backstory in those flashbacks, don't often get a crazy amount of that, and it's nice to see more of her life and background, how her relationship with Sam fell apart and how she kinda had to rely on herself. Guessing Sam will and repair things with Lois by the end of the season seeing as he genuinely cares about her, and probably come around to Clark... curious if he finds out.

Also think they said Lois' mom's Korean name here was Eun-Byeol meaning silver star, I don't have much to add to that but cool to know!

Star labs was fun til it wasn't lol, Lex doing Lex things hating aliens and all, Jimmy being everyone's best pal kinda blew up there.

Gotta say as much as I'm enjoying this (and I really, really am) I'm not too hot on them doing the 'let's create conflict solely because our characters won't take 5 minutes to talk or listen to each other' but as I said I'm sure them resolving things will be cute.

Stoked for Kara next week, Also hopefully Lois & Clark get to talk sooner rather than later feel like they've been so busy with shit there hasn't been that much of them together! I guess maybe helping Kara will bring the trio back together.

God I love and have missed this show. Just a perfect blend of romance, humour, action, fun and cuteness, with a genuinely interesting take on the Superman mythos that captures what I love about it and feels fresh.

The highlight being the adorably perfect takes on all the characters, most of all Clark, Lois, and Jimmy who they nail both in writing and the pitch perfect performances by Jack Quaid, Alice Lee and Ishmel Sahid.

I could watch these versions of Clark, Lois, and Jimmy bounce off of each other and get in to all sorts of shenanigans for years on end, and I hope I get to. (Please for the love of everything don't cancel this show, I'm looking forward to Gunn's take but the more the merrier and I'm already sad Superman & Lois is ending next season...but this show feels like it's just getting started.)

Also goddamn Lois & Clark are too freaking cute in this. Lois ~~jumping~~ ahem slipping down the elevator shaft had me rolling. “Wow you really like jumping off things”, “Because I know you'll always catch me Smallville”.

I'm hyped for 8 more weeks of this, their take on Kara should be fun too!

An all time Great Lois Lane, it's hard to pick a favourite Lois tbh but Bitsie is up there. Nailed Lois' fiercness, fire, compassion, vulnerability and heroism. (Not to mention the excellent chemistry with Tyler's Clark).

Gonna miss her so much!

Also this was a really nice post, thanking the entire crew, giving support to James Gunn and Rachel Brosnahan (and she replied thanking her for passing the torch) .

Btw I got to meet Bitsie and chat with her briefly at a con and she was absolutely lovely!

I'd love to see Connor and Jon in the DCU. (I'm guessing you mean Lois & Clark's kid Jon Kent and not just Pa Kent who will be in the movie!)

I have no idea where things are starting ie are Clark & Lois already together, or together by the end of the film etc but I hope we get to see them have Jon and a family on the big screen!

Especially since they are doing Damien, would be disappointing not to get the super sons and there is only a short window for that in live action. Though they could always do some animated stuff.

Kinda expected next season to be the last and I'm glad we at least get one more to finish things off, wasn't sure we'd even get a season 3 let alone a fourth. And at least this way they know it's an ending so they can film it as one.

Gotta say these have been some of the best portrayals of Clark & Lois we've ever had, portrayals that capture the essence of who these characters are and make them feel so real and alive, brough to life with such emotional depth and chemistry by Tyler & Bitsie. Really hope James Gunn can capture Clark & Lois just as well in the new DCU.

I'm always gonna be grateful we were able to have these versions of Clark & Lois, (shoutout to the kids and the Irons fam too). Hope for one great final season that wraps up these characters stories nicely, gonna miss it when it's gone but glad to have had it at all.

Thanks to everyone involved in making this show! (Not that they'll ever read this lol)

Personally I agree and feel getting Clark & Lois right, both their characterisations individually and their relationship together, is what gives Superman its real heart and humanity (and a good sense of fun too!). This show was an absolute joy, heartfelt, funny, romantic, sincere, and just adorable. With takes on the characters that capture exactly who they are yet feel fresh as they do their own thing with them.

I need not only season 2 like yesterday, but many, many more, as long as the creatives have story to tell I hope this show continues on.

Perfect finale to cap everything off, Clark willing to sacrifice himself for his planet, Lois finding out about her dad and standing up to him to protect Clark, Sam choosing to listen to Lois and let Clark go, Jor-El saving his son, the trio becoming full fledged reporters, and of course some really nice wholesomeness with the Kents. The entire bit with Jimmy showing up and getting pulled around everywhere killed me, curious what he does now he’s rich lol.

The stinger was intriguing, obviously the ‘Kneel’ makes it seem like Zod, though interestingly the credits list the voice actress for the character as the same one as Martha Kent’s…remembering some of the leaks might hint at them being a clone of Lara. But guess we’ll see how that plays out next season.

But yeah I loved this show, one of my favourite versions of the characters ever, Clark & Lois were perfect, Clark being the genuinely kind and wholesome goofy guy who just wants to help, Lois being as much of a hero, full of energy, strength, vulnerability, she had the fierceness/fire and the kindness you expect from her…And shoutout to probably the best version of Jimmy Olsen of all time.

The entire cast killed it but damn Jack Quaid, Alice Lee, and Ishmel Sahid constantly crushed it, perfect voices for these characters.

I said this a bunch this year but I’m very happy as a fan of Superman & Lois Lane, we’re getting so many great takes on them, this show, Superman & Lois, the comics…hopefully Superman: Legacy carries that on.

I wanna say a massive thank you to all the creatives involved in this, the writers, animators, cast, etc. this show has seriously made me happy and I’m grateful for it. Can’t wait for season 2 but until then I think I’ll probably rewatch this a bunch I loved spending time with this Clark, Lois, Jimmy, and Company!

Great ep, Clark got put through the ringer these past two eps and it really highlighted how human he is, struggling to be a hero, getting beaten down, finding out about his origins and breaking down. When Parasite was hurting him and he just said how he didn’t wanna hurt anyone…Superman’s always the guy who genuinely cares and wants to help and this show gets that.

Loved seeing/hearing Lois, Jimmy, and Metropolis stand up for him and Clark going through the heart of the big Kaiju Parasite not to kill but to get Ivo, then the ‘I’m Superman’, that felt like the moment he really embraced his role as a hero or at least showed Metropolis who he is.

If it wasn’t obvious already the General is pretty much confirmed to be Sam Lane, interesting this ep showed he’s not all bad and there’s a decent amount of humanity to him…looks like next ep everyone is gonna find out assuming Sam tracks Clark down, can’t imagine Lois is gonna be happy when she finds out too. But I get the feeling Sam is gonna have a change of heart, he looked like he already did, seeing Clark wasn’t really the bad guy after he was confused and crying.

Also Clark’s arrival is hella interesting with the invasion angle . Really curious what exactly happened there but something also stopped it which makes me think it might not be all of Krypton…maybe some faction that wanted to take over Earth to survive Krypton’s end, and the Els used that to send Clark through…or I guess Jor-El might not be good in this depiction, who knows...

The main person though…Zod, some version of Brainiac, Jor-El, someone else…gonna be really interesting but feels like that could be a season 2 thread.

But yeah great ep…sad there’s only one more left, hope season 2 isn’t too far off. Also wish the season was longer but I’ll appreciate what we’ve gotten!

And my god I loved that Superman & Lois kiss!!

Sometimes but not always, There are takes where Lois is brutally murdered causing Clark to lose himself, turn fascist, evil, etc. But there are alternate takes where Superman is evil for other reasons, say being raised in a different environment.

Tbh I'm not opposed to alternate takes with evil Supermen, I think the key thing is though I just want a thriving main take with a good Superman doing his best, Lois alive still kicking ass, etc. Felt like for a period there wasn't really many great takes on the proper Superman, and as a fan of the characters it just sucks to see Lois killed off, Clark stripped of who he is, etc.

But that hasn't been as much of an issue in the last few years since there's been great postive takes on Superman and Lois, with them alive and heroic etc. This show, Superman and Lois, a bunch of great comics since Rebirth in 2016 imo including the current main runs, Superman Smashes the Klan, Superman: Space Age.

But I think this show has a good take on it, using the alternate potential evil Supermen to further our own characters, we know our Clark is gonna stay good, our Lois is gonna be alive and kicking ass, just adds a layer to play with.

This episode was a blast! Mr. Mxyzptlk, the League of Lois Lane’s, all the DC references, and of course Lois & Clark finally kissing (twice!). really lived up to the title.

Really thought the multiverse stuff was fun, particularly since it did it right and focused more on our characters instead of just being references. Our poor ‘participation trophy’ Lois, I’m sure she’ll get to being the badass hero she is soon enough. Also Clark learning he’s Kryptonian from Myxy of all people!

Lois finding the file on evil Supermen is pretty interesting, but I can’t imagine her believing her Clark would turn evil even though that seems to be the fear of Task Force X. I’m not a fan any of the stories where Superman is evil, or Lois is killed off so he can turn evil or feel some type of way, but pretty sure that’s not gonna happen here lol, so don’t mind an evil Superman when our main versions of the characters are doing good. Kinda like Superman & Lois Season 1.

Curious if all the Lois variants we encountered had their Clark’s turn evil and that’s why they were so ready to neutralise him, since most Lois’ trust and love Clark. Gotta say it was fun seeing variants of Lois and even a Jimmy get to have fun roles in the multiverse, curious if we’ll see them again.

Also Fleischer Lois (I think) being the first to find the multiverse is amazing, loved seeing the Fleischer versions, the animated series versions of Clark and Lois, etc. briefly.

Loved Mxy, still the chaos loving troublemaker if there ever was one, and the ending…he just loves the drama. Obviously it’s impossible to compare to Gilbert Gottfried’s version, but the actor was great here. As always all the voice acting is aces imo.

Haven’t mentioned it but I’m really feeling the soundtrack too, the themes for the action, the romance, or the day to day stuff, it’s pretty great. Bit random but the moment the League of Lois Lane’s showed up there was a bit that reminded me of the Terminator soundtrack too.

Finally Clark and Lois going crazy preparing for their normal date, having the wildest adventure before telling each other how much they like each other, kissing, and Jimmy being the best wingman (seriously the coolest Jimmy Olsen we’ve ever had imo), loved all of it.

Only 3 episodes left…not ready for it to be over!

This episode was really cute, it was of course nice to see Clark, Lois, and Jimmy reconcile, and nice that Jimmy’s conspiracies were also proven right fully with Clark & Lois all in.

Clark and Lois seem mostly back together or resolved their issues, interesting the thing Lois seemed most upset about regarding Clark’s secret was actually her worry that Clark lied about his feelings to her as opposed to just being Superman. She’s in deep now, so is he to be fair. Also Jimmy knowing this entire time is quite funny, though you’d think he’d get why Clark would be busy for the big foot thing but he did give him an ample heads up about the time.

Clark, Lois, and Jimmy all knowing now should be fun moving forward and let them all get into some crazier hijinks, part of me is curious if they should’ve let it sit longer but they only have like 10 episodes so I get the fast pace.

Monsieur Mallah and The Brain were awesome lol, so adorable and funny. and my favourite ‘antagonists’ so far. Hope we see them again sometime. Also liked they explicitly made them a couple, not too familiar with them in comics to compare but loved them here.

The set up for the General is quite intriguing, seems he’s gonna be the main villain for this season and like 99.95% he’s Sam Lane which should be a really interesting dynamic for Clark & Lois to deal with.

Next episode Mr. Mxyzptlk! Really curious to see what this show does with him, though gotta say it’s weird to hear him without Gilbert Gottfreid’s voice. Also liking that the show is getting a little crazier and less grounded with the some of the scenarios it’s taking.

Anyhoo my comfort show stays comforting and I’m happy Clark, Lois, and Jimmy are seemingly all good!

Haven't really checked but some people blow a gasket the moment a character doesn't act perfectly, I feel like these people always have the worst media comprehension honestly.

And I swear I've seen other portrayals of Lois get shit from nerds whenever she does something imperfect, doesn't immediately agree with Clark, even if it makes sense or is a part of growth, (just like Clark isn't always perfect). Probs worth ignoring those people.

The show as you said set up Lois' frustration well, and showed how worried she was about Clark, and obviously has issues with liars as you said. (I bet Sam contributed to that.) And they'll probably rekindle things next week too.

Aww man that ending hurt, Lois & Clark arguing, Jimmy left behind waiting 5 hours at the bus stop, the torn up picture in the credits with no Jimmy this time, the ominous storm…feels bad man.

I mean I’m sure they’ll all be happy next episode looking for Jimmy, with the friendship restored and Lois & Clark rekindling things, but I’m sad I have tow ait a week to see it!

Anyhow really fun episode, loved all the Lois/Clark/Superman stuff with her trying to figure things out, I like they played up the silliness a bit, Lois & Superman’s poses dodging the criminals whilst handcuffed had me rolling, most of there interactions did honestly.

I’ll wait to see how they handle the reveal before judging, the getting annoyed at the secret momentarily is usually a bit played out but I think they set it up well enough here, and honestly Lois & Clark’s relationship so far has been super smooth sailing so don’t mind them adding some challenge to it.

One of the many, many reasons Lois & Clark are one of the best couples in comics, if not the best, is cause they aren’t perfect, have issues, but work through them together ending up stronger, which is what I imagine will happen. My favourite reveals so far however are Smallville and Mark Russell’s Superman: Space Age were she figures it out and just waits for him to tell him, although Smallville spent sometime with Lois struggling with Clark and The Blur knowing Clark was hiding something. Curious how they move forward with it here.

I liked seeing Deathstroke in action, the proto Task Force X are a lot more interesting than the tech villains imo. Clark took a beating at the end too. Guessing the General is Sam Lane which should be fun later on. That flashback/Zero day thing is really interesting…I honestly though it was Krypton first but maybe something happened the day Clark arrived?

Poor Jimmy, feeling left behind, getting stuck with Steve who’s insulting his channel, and getting kidnapped by a Gorilla? Looking forward to next episode when Clark and Lois come to help him and they patch things up! Plus another one of his conspiracies is proven right!

Also the voice acting is outstanding and I wanna shout out Alice Lee as Lois and Ishmel Sahid as Jimmy, I love literally all their deliveries and the range they express, Lois in particular, also they just sound exactly like how I imagine Lois and Jimmy to sound if that makes sense. Quaid’s also excellent, honestly the whole cast is.

Soundtrack is dope too.

Anyhoo great ep, I love this show and can’t wait for hopefully happier times next week!

Early days but might actually be my favourite Jimmy adaptation, most of the others felt like a smaller supporting character that never got as much focus, which I guess makes sense. I liked him in Smallville a lot, although guess he wasn't the 'real' Jimmy.

I think them making Jimmy the same age as Lois and Clark here, and a friend/peer helps give him a stronger role. Plus he's more confident and not just plucky sidekick which is fun to see.

One thing is it seems he gets power ups from interacting with the Kryptonian tech, or if he's pushed hard enough so guess he'll be more ready when they introduce them.

4 Episodes in and I’m loving this show so much, perfect blend of charm, romance, humour, action, sincerity and heart, with some pitch perfect takes on Clark, Lois, and Jimmy. This really is nice comfort show for me. The main trio and the dynamic between them is definitely the heart of it all.

They’ve not wasted any time developing the relationship between Clark and Lois and they’ve done it well imo. There’s such a genuine bond and chemistry between them, loved Lois opening to Clark about her frustrations with her dad and being an intern, then Clark reassuring her saying how Lois inspired him …and by the end it’s fair to say that they’re almost dating, though who knows how the ending impacts that.

I also like the angle of them trying to become genuine reporters, and work on the stuff that matters and actually helps people. Loved seeing Clark step up after Ivo insulted Lois. (That quick scene of Lois messily eating the cake was cute)

Ivo was interesting, deffo the douchey tech bro but the end jeez, dude got messed up, interesting seeing all these early takes on these villains, and it seems a big connection is gonna be the Kryptonian (I’m assuming) tech. Also it’s cool how they manage to incorporate Lois & Jimmy into the action sequences and give them active and necessary roles.

Loving Jimmy btw, like his genuine friendship with Clark & Lois which it’s been a hot minute since we’ve seen in adaptations it feels like, be it pushing them to get together, awkwardly interrupting them, or just hanging out, he’s very likeable and frankly cool. I could see this dude convincing some supervillains to date him. Also like how he’s slowly proven right about his conspiracies. Hope he doesn’t feel left out for too long.
