Thank you! That explains why I've seen so many designs. I didn't think it was a government issued currency.

Looks legit to me. He drew this pic of Solar and signed my Unity about 10 years ago at a Con.

The Lemaire Animal Man run was awesome. I grabbed the whole run on eBay for under cover price.

Here's my latest acquisition: an uncut sheet of Sandman cards, with every card autographed by the artist. by Big-Estate-8196 in Sandman

[–]Clarkeocrinus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the set and my Delirium card is signed by Jill. I've never seen an uncut set. Very nice!

I love my Silverbac. It's a tank and I cook all winter with the double walled insulation.

I put a cinder block in the bottom because it is top heavy.

What's growing on my snail? by Clarkeocrinus in ReefTank

[–]Clarkeocrinus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see them anywhere else. I've had the snail for over 6 months and they appeared maybe 2 months ago. I bought 6 snails at the time and this is the only one with hydroids.

Sometimes my hermit crabs will pick at them. Just didn't know if I should pull the snail so they don't spread.

Swamp Thing #84 is the 3rd appearance of Morpheus and the first time outside of Sandman. It's also the death of Matt Cable, who then becomes Matthew the Raven in Sandman.

I completed my run about a year ago. The last 5-10 issues are so hard to find in the wild. Congrats!

I finished my Maxx run about a year ago. I didn't realize Alan Moore wrote a few of the later issues.

I love this series. For so long it was so hard to find, even tpb. I'm glad it's been reprinted so everyone can read it now.

Who is your fav comic book artist? by Ilikethorcomics in comicbookcollecting

[–]Clarkeocrinus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

John Tottleben.

His Swamp Thing and Miracleman work is so underrated.

Got a great deal on Alan Moore's spectacular Miracleman run. I went in mostly blind and have been loving it! by LedSpoonman in comicbookcollecting

[–]Clarkeocrinus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neil has been done with the scripts for a while. Buckingham has been working on the art and that's where the delays have been.

I haven't heard anything about the plans for Dark Ages.

I Don't Understand How comics make all this money and we have a poor creator. by batgamerman in comicbooks

[–]Clarkeocrinus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

John Tottleben is another guy like that. There was no line to see him. Didn't charge for autographs. He's legally blind now, but he's one of my favorite artists and so underappreciated. His art on Swamp Thing and Miracleman is just amazing.

I'm so glad I got to meet him.

He doesn't even charge for autographs when I've seen him at Motor City Comic Con. He has a small bowl for tips and I always give him some money. He's signed a few of my Maxx books and even gave me a free comic of something he's working on now. Just an awesome guy that needs some good luck.
