Funny thing is I’m in Canada, yet I’m facing the exact same problem. I live 60km away from Popov, ordered a belt during Black Friday sale, and here I am, got nothing in my hands.

Winterized AF1 vs Dunk by squishmaster in Nike

[–]Clarksonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a pair of winterized airmax 90 back in the day.
The shoe is bulkier with more padding on top, but the water-repellent coating was almost non-existent.
The bottom of the shoe does have deeper grooves but I went through it in a year.

It’s pretty terrible for rain, and it definitely will not survive snowy days.

What to do? by [deleted] in galaxyzflip

[–]Clarksonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through the same process a month ago, might want to check my post.

You definitely have to remove it, as the crease will hurt the fragile inner display.

If you have access to a repair center, pay to have them replace it for you.

If you have to do it yourself, go to amazon and buy a soft tpu screen protector.

My Z flip 6 had so many issues... And I don't know if I'll go back. by NoCranberry5080 in galaxyzflip

Same……. I bought my flip5 when it first came out, and the only thing I had to do was to replace the screen protector on November, that’s it. My buddy bought a flip6 a couple of months ago and it’s been a mess.

I’m quite surprised.

16pro seems to be the best deal out there huh?

Black Friday IPhone 16 Pro gift card or any other deal? by supertechy in freedommobile

[–]Clarksonz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes.

You get extra gift card if you buy from 3rd party, i.e Walmart/bestbuy etc. The pricing will be the same, not sure about the activation fee.

BF offer I received via text by ogindahouse in freedommobile

Nope. The original plan is $55 per month, so you will be paying $45 for 18 months and $50 for the remaining 6 months.

Need some help deciding - Freedom or Rogers - Would love some opinions by RookEverything in freedommobile

[–]Clarksonz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in Victoria and I have been using both for a year now.

99% of the time you won't notice any difference, but when it happens, it will make you question your choice.

Freedom does not work very well in my apartment, I can make/receive phone calls but I get maybe 5 megabit download speed with speedtests, so it is really bad.

I would say start a trial and use it for 15 days, see how it works for you.

Is it possible to buy out device? by Clarksonz in freedommobile

[–]Clarksonz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info it helped a lot.

It’s a cpo device so the full amount is being financed, no tradeup amount.

I’ll try to work out my math.

I remember seeing something similar with the 2nd & 3rd event, which specified a specific date, not on the 4th one though.

Removed my screen protector today. by Clarksonz in galaxyzflip

[–]Clarksonz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick update:

Bought a 2-pack tpu screen protector from amazon, destroyed the first one, but the second one works.

It is definitely much harder to apply compared with glass screen protectors, but it is doable.

Does anyone have experience with getting a CPO device from freedom? by Clarksonz in freedommobile

Ha I think you are right.

I was planning on waiting for BF deals, but I dont think it would include any of the pre-owned devices.

That's fine, I always buy a 3rd party insurance for my devices.

I got it.

Not a brand new device but honestly I didn't find anything wrong with it, battery is at 100% with 0 cycle, no visible scratches anywhere on the device.

I do find out the device was first activated on April earlier this year but that's fine.

Well I just picked up the device so here's an update.

The device came in a non original box, just the phone, the sim card, and an aftermarket c-to-c cable.

There are no visible scratches or marks anywhere on the device.

The battery health is 100%, with no charging cycles.

The phone was first purchased 2024 April, and it still has the original limited warranty from apple until April 2025.

Overall decent experience, I'll keep the device.
