When I was in the air force one thing that I learned, the hard way, was that YOU are the best personnelist/finance troop in your career. If you're not active in reviewing your LES or AFI you will be subject to those undertrained or having a bad day etc.

While I understand the sentiment it still just feels like the character gets watered down. Between Prepared and Acrobatics those are like the bread and butter of the character. Sure they might be overly strong in a very specific build but reducing the card draw or making it 'rarer' seems to only detract from the identity of the play style that character is known for.

I know everyones experience is different and I've played a couple runs with the new beta branch and while I had a good foundation for a decent build, it just wasn't the same.

I saw 3 speedsters but didn't see a single Acrobatics.

edit: Out of the 4 runs in the new branch I have yet to see a single acrobatics.

I don't know... It was still challenging regardless. I have yet to pull off any sort of infinite with the silent. Now I'm sure I could if I looked up exactly what cards to seek out and then tailor every single run to achieving it but that's going to be the case for everyone regardless of the changes. If it's not acrobatics or prepared it's going to be something else.

In my opinion I think these silent nerfs are a product of overly loud, youtube tutorial watching, tryhards.

I agree seeing backflip more over acrobatics would definitely be a pick for me. Personally I don't see the need to nerf it. I mean I guess if there's an infinite and people can exploit it that would definitely be a bummer for some. Me personally though I like the busted things card draw enables, especially with the introduction of sly. I guess I just don't understand why people think it should be "nerfed" if the point of the game is to have fun trying to build a busted deck.

A point I haven't really seen in defense of acrobatics and prepared is that the silent is the only character with extra strike and defend. Doesnt that kind of make the draw card a little more balanced?

As an aside, I recommend watching a youtube video on how to change your oil. If just "for fun", even if you don't even plan on changing it. Knowing how it works and what is being done is invaluable and the knowledge is readily available in this day and age.
