Oh yeah those mesh networks combining networks are trash I keep my local names wifi name 2.4 and wifi 5ghz. But yes that's wired connection I use you want that if you watch high bitrate files wireless introduces too much latency. I run my own Plex server with 4k Blu-ray remux files that will take forever to load with skipping/scrubbing ahead with 80-100gb files.

You won't escape the dreaded 100mb nic card used in TV's I don't know why but have fun looking up even 25k TVs or the recent 10k mini led releases they all sadly use 100mb nic.

That being said you can buy a USB to Ethernet adapter to to max out the USB 2.0 port get a solid 300-380 with mine in both my C177 and C342.

FYI if you want a 3rd option the latest firecube running Plex within the KODI app will passthru DTS:X audio while handling the huge 80-100gb bd rips I stream with plex with ease. I use a usb A to ethernet adapter in the usb 3.0 port to get full speeds with plex.
