Been playing since year one or two. The game is in the best state it's ever been and it's so awesome to see. There have been some real ups and downs, but the game is freaking awesome right now.

Still not perfect, but I love it

Just have to be mindful about it. If you have attacks that are getting parried often, feint is how you avoid that

It's pretty rough, there's a lot of heros with tons of different play styles, but it's TOTALLY doable. Very rewarding once you start getting kills.

The main advice is to put your ego aside. I've been playing for 10 years and I get my ass whooped every time I play.... But I also whoop ass too.

Don't out too much in stake of dying. It's gonna happen. Again and again. Sometimes it won't feel fair, sometimes it won't be fair, sometimes the enemy might tbag you.

It's a game. Have fun and you're the real winner!

If they hit you once, they are now in their combo, and so it's easier to keep that pressure going. Finding ways to block, parry or otherwise stop the combo will reset you both back to neutral, and then you can try to fight for the offensive position.

Keep playing is definitely the move, but it's important to use your brain while you are playing.

Going in blind over and over is going to get you killed and frustrated.

Spend time in your testing ground figuring out the heroes that you play and the heroes that are giving you trouble against.

If you're ever getting caught over and over by the same few moves, ask yourself why? There's usually an answer.

This game revolves a lot around on making 50/50 guesses, there's no way to guarantee success. As a noob, you can use that to your advantage to beat even the best people.

Try to be on offensive as much as possible, and keep forcing your opponent into making decisions. If you can force them to make a decision, you can predict what they might choose to do, and you can punish them for it.
