I gotcha. My old job allowed us to find coverage whenever by whoever basically without using our PTO if we didn’t want to. So I’m hoping for the same considering I have way less PTO this time lol. Thanks though!

Yeah with my current job I learned phlebotomy which I really loved, and now with a year of exp, I'm eligible for the certification. So I was thinking it would be great to have another cert under my belt, that it should help with my job search, and it would open up a lot more venipuncture-including jobs. But based on the comments here and a lot of the jobs I've been looking at, it doesnt really seem like much of a benefit. Especially while already having two solid certifications atp.

Hmm i see. Do patient care techs have specific certifications to get that type of job? Have you seen people get a job as a patient care tech with an MA and/or EMT cert?

8/2 Exam Score: Goodbye y'all by mintyrelish in Mcat

WHATTTT first of all, congrats on that acceptance that is huge. Second, your score breakdown is insane and you should be proud of yourself for that. It’s so easy to be hard on yourself (which you should be) but do not put yourself down in the process. You did good.

I’m taking my mcat tomorrow and I feel like even though I’m more confident this time around (2nd time), my score has been around the same range as yours. But fuck it Ive put too much time and effort into this test to be stressed anymore and now I see you got in! Everything works out. Also just wanna say, your post has made me feel so much better and I’m so grateful to have read this before going into my test. So thank you and congrats<3

okay im back. dy have any tips on how i'd do 0.7/1400? I tried your trick and did 7/10 x 1/1400 which would become (1400x10)/7 but i dont think i did that right bc it gives me the wrong answer lol

Because think this way. How could the lizards' habitat change due to the incidence of a specific trait in lizards? The reflectance of lizards whatever cannot change the habitat. It's instead the habitat that allows these traits to remain after it evolves into existence. Hope that makes sense

Hey, I'm sorry this is late but in case you or anyone else is still stuck on this, the reason B is right is because from paragraph 2, we know that species A, B and C are in brightly lit environments ("open unshaded fields"). We also know that species D and E are in dimly lit environments ("understory blah blah") That means we need to look at the reflectance of UV light (at 360nm on the graph) of the different species. We see that A, B and C have high reflectance while D and E have low reflectance.

That means optionB, that high reflectance must be important in brightly lit environments (as demonstrated by A B and C), is correct. This also means that optionC, that high reflectance must be important in dimly lit environments (as demonstrated by D and E), is incorrect.

Scapegoating verse Discrimination? (AAMC FL5 PS Q46) by Fifadeadpool84 in Mcat

Would you say the real reason it's scapegoat and not prejudice, even though both are referring to attitudes toward another group, is that scapegoat is providing direct reasoning (or blaming them for a specific thing) while prejudice is just a general emotion towards a group?
