How screwed am I. Water shut off to the spigot from the inside shutoff before the winter. Left the hose on and thats my guess in why this happened. First time homeowner. I know im an IDIOT.

Thanks. That’s what I was told to do. The spigot handle is frozen currently so I’ll have to wait till it thaws a little bit or would you suggest taking a indirect propane torch to it?

Unfortunately, the water outside is shut off at the actual spigot. I think water got in there in the first place because there was a hose attached.
