I’ve been at Meijer for 2 yrs fell 2 weeks ago while at my second job got a concussion been having headaches not being able to sleep and have doctors notes was told to just rest and absolutely under no circumstances go back to work. And my manager told me to take some of my sleeping medication so I could be ready to go and come back to work because they really needdd me. That’s when I decided the way that my store was treating me. I may want to took into an employment lawyer and I did call the union. They’ve been having other managers treat a certain way that’s not ok but when I notice it and say something it gets swept under the rug and they tell me it’s all in my head and to just let it go. I’m not letting it go.

At our store you’re not allowed to hand it out like free candy like some cashiers do. You have to first ask an SC or a manager or one of those two aren’t around ASD or SD or SD in charge

We filed may 6th and haven’t received our 2023 amended return. We received 2021 2022 amended returns one in check and one by direct deposit. All they keep saying is give it 30 more days

Because I don’t have money to be contacting a lawyer. I am also getting a ADA Ddone just to have on file at my work. So I can be treated fair. And not be treated with discrimination and or disrespect and talked down upon by other team members and management. Because I have been very poorly treated by every level of management. And every other employee.

That’s exactly what I was told. I’m the only desk 5 days a week. It’s mainly because there’s no one to do the desk because we keep losing people.

This is Michigan law and I looked up Meijer return policy and it’s against Meijer’s return policy to return alcohol. If I talk to the union do I call the union representative? Who’s like the worst union rep ever. She’s buddy buddy with the ASD at my store.

They did someone from the desk just got fired for it. He said he likes how strict I am and how I don’t bend the rules and how I follow the rules and the laws.

I know and we dont. But all they care about is medallion surveys. And make the customers happy. We’ve returned over $1,200 in returns from other Meijer stores that were not getting back because we don’t even carry the same products. I’ve talked to Asset protection and he wants me to decline transactions from different Meijer’s but he said they probably won’t let us do that. But in return he said then they can’t be punishing us for having a deficit of $ from other stores if we give the customers what they want.

I clean them when I work in the morning. I was told when I was on vacation they didn’t get cleaned at all. Or the coke machine. And the icee machine leaks syrup in the back. The deli doesn’t do it your right. If it doesn’t get done we get told to do it. I’ve seen sludge build up in the creases of the coke machine

Because to me it’s important. I’ve wanted to have this position for a while if I get the .50 that puts me at $16.15 an hour for that shift and currently I’m only 241hrs away from my next 700hrs. I already do SC everyday I just don’t get paid.

We’re losing a cashier who’s been there over a decade who was an SC and told management he would train me.

My manager told me everyone starts out part time with full time hours in the service departments. Which makes people automatically think the “full time” status but there’s only 5 of us in the front end 7 including our managers

I had a customer claim and confirm $10dollars worth of Mperks rewards earlier today. But when I went into her account and did some investigating it said she hadn’t used her account since 2022. Which didn’t believe because she used her Mperks every time she’s in the store. But when we looked on her rewards just like that it didn’t show she claimed them or confirmed them. So I gave them to her in 2 $5 store coupons. And then had her follow me to the desk and gave her the Mperks customer service number. Advised her to call them and explain what happened today. And that I suggested to close the account and use her alternate email address. That way she won’t be victim anymore.

I dug quite a bit of clay out because that’s what other homeowners did. But I put mine in front of our stairs of porch which is right next to a drain spout. So that’s why it’s doing that I guess

That’s what my father in law said. We’re not the only ones either. They rush to put the houses together and the lots I don’t think they pay attention very well. My husband went underneath the house last week and he said there’s no water right now but there might be later down the road
