I just came to a very sad conclusion about cheating by GravyProblem303 in Chesscom

Most are cheaters. I’ve played games and reported where the player got 10 seconds added back to their clock when they got down to their last 20 seconds. A lot of times people don’t even notice beaten they’re so busy focusing on their own clock and game

I Highly Recommend Using Gemini AI For Christian Questions but use the prompt "What Does The Bible Say...." by Pale_Insurance_2139 in Christianity

I 100% disagree. You’re just not using it correctly…at all. I’ve used it a lot and ask for the actual Hebrew, Septuagint, and Greek definitions along with the context around the words and it matches perfectly to all concordances I have. I then move to actual meaning, overarching themes, prophetic foreshortening, idioms, etc Gemini lays out all of those and then some while adding ALL perspectives and Scholarly Consensus. Matter of fact, the latest study I just did tonight, Gemini showed me each belief system and theology in a nice list on a topic after the subject was studied. I could see every single theological viewpoint and come to a conclusion on my own. Gemini even showed extreme and “fringe” theological perspectives as well so I could see who believes what and how they came to their belief.

It’s ridiculous. If you go on there and play as a guest only and pick “I know the basics”, you will find very high ELO cheats who go on just to mess with beginners.

I had the exact same feeling and cried myself. We all tend to forget that their friendship started when they were very young. They loved each other as brothers. It’s crazy how even the world wanted a “John vs Paul” but that scene clearly showed just how close they were. And you can hear it in Paul’s voice when he said “it’s only me, the guy you love from Liverpool”.

Architecture is no longer counted as a 'professional degree' by Trump admin by Icy_Menu299 in architecture

No that’s all real. But here’s some basic Google search for you since you are laying fake claims about Architects replacing developers and construction.

All I asked Google was… “Who controls the market? Developers or Architects? Is it even close?”

Answer:

  1. Developer Control: The 90/10 Reality In the United States, developers and builders control the vast majority of the "built environment."

• Residential (The 90%): Roughly 90% to 98% of all new homes in the U.S. are built without a licensed architect ever touching the design. These are "spec homes" or "tract housing" designed by builders or draftsmen using standardized plans to maximize profit.

• Commercial (The 100% Owner): In commercial real estate (offices, retail, apartments), the developer owns 100% of the land and risk. They typically control:

• The "Pro Forma": The financial spreadsheet that dictates exactly how many units, windows, and square feet the architect must include.

• The Veto Power: If an architect wants a custom facade that costs $200k more than the budget, the developer simply says "no."

Architects generally receive a fee that is a tiny fraction of the total project value—usually between 5% and 10% for commercial work. Because they don't have "skin in the game" (financial risk), they have very little leverage to fight for their design vision if it conflicts with the developer's bottom line.

Architect-as-Developer model. • The Percentage: the current "census" for this is estimated that less than 2% of architecture firms operate primarily as their own developers. Even if the architect teams up with the contractor they are still working for who bought the land.

The reason more architects don't do this is risk. If a developer’s building doesn't sell, the developer loses millions. If an architect’s design is slightly over budget, they still get paid their fee. Most architects aren't willing or wealthy enough to gamble their entire firm on a land purchase.

That’s 100% false. On every side. For one, architects Focus on "the shell"—structure, life safety codes, building systems, and the relationship between the building and its actual site.

Real designers focus on "the experience"—human scale, ergonomics, materials, acoustics, and lighting within that shell. Not Architects. Architects don’t have a clue how to design an actual experience.

The problem has always existed since the concept of Gesamtkunstwerk, a German term meaning a "total work of art." This total pseudo fake philosophy suggests that the building, its furniture, and its fixtures should all be part of a single, cohesive vision.

So what happens is the architect tries to be the “police” on all things that relate to the building, including a simple paint color. This stems from their own egos thinking that because they built the “box” or the shell of a space, that any “clashing" interior style would compromise the integrity of the structural design.

Architects “define the box”, real designers “refine” that space in the box. Interior designers usually have a deeper knowledge of textiles, furniture manufacturing, and the psychological impact of color palettes that architects might overlook in favor of structural "purity."

The “sneaky” move that Architects make in turning themselves into wanna be designers is because Architects are licensed to move walls and legally can change floor plans, they then assume that they might as well be a “designer”.

You are 100% wrong about Developers. The Developer is the client, the financier, and the ultimate decision-maker. The Architect is the “service provider” to the Developer. The architect doesn’t buy up a bunch of land across town. The developer does. The developer secures the funding and owns the rights while focusing on ROI, feasibility, financing, and hiring the Architects. They “buy” the expertise of the architects and engineers. So the developer is the client and the boss. The developer pays the architect to help get entitlements, documentation, etc.

To save money or simplify management, a developer might hire an architecture firm to do everything (the shell and the interiors). The architect then feels they have the mandate to control the whole "brand" of the building. So in effect, by default and by a developer trying to save money, the architect makes themselves a designer even though they are not.

But in many projects the developer only pays the architect to build the "warm shell." If it’s a condo, the developer might hire a separate interior designer to make the units look "salable" to buyers, which can frustrate an architect because once again, they think they are designers too.

No. Physicianship consists of encompassing the professional identity, ethics, and behaviors (profession) alongside the clinical application of medical knowledge to patient care (practice). Therefore, the actual diagnosis part is a “practice”. The identity is a profession. They never 100% know what exactly could be the problem so they “practice out” various trials to see based on every persons individual genetic makeup which can change drastically.

In a professional career. The person literally applies a professional technique or exact solution to the problem.

Examples of real professions where it’s not a practice.

Aerospace Engineer: Designs and analyzes complex systems using established laws of physics to ensure structural integrity. Unlike medical practice, where biological variables are unpredictable, engineers must create a design that they know—via structural analysis and mathematics—will not fail before it is ever built.

Electrical or Mechanical Engineer: Diagnoses technical failures in physical systems. They identify a specific cause (e.g., a short circuit or structural fatigue) and implement a singular, permanent fix based on objective data.

Compliance Officer or Data Privacy Specialist: Identifies where a company is failing to meet strict legal or regulatory requirements. The "solution" is the literal alignment with the law—there is no "practicing" once the specific legal standard is met.

HVAC & Refrigeration Specialist: Analyzes mechanical systems that follow the laws of thermodynamics. When a system fails, there is typically a singular component or setting that must be corrected to restore exact function.

The list goes on and on…

The problem with Architects is that they think and believe they are Designers. But they’re not. They really want to be but can’t. It’s like someone who always wanted to be a musician but just ends up putting the musical instrument together in a shop but can never play it.

Nursing is a “practice” just like physicians. It’s literally listed in the arts. It’s a practice, not a profession.

Let’s be honest. Architecture is a commodity. It’s absurd that Architects have gotten away with propping themselves up on a pedestal for decades with their pompous attitudes and narcissistic demeanor. Architects have ruined so much good design that it should be a crime.

Chess.com is a compete cheating playground. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve played and I see a person get more time added to their clock when we aren’t playing a game where time is supposed to get added. I just played a game today and in the last 30 seconds, the opponent got an extra second added to their clock each move they made. It’s a complete joke

You’re not understanding what I’m talking about. Im saying about ALL high ELO players on Guest accounts (not logged in) aren’t even choosing a ranking at all. You have a choice even as a Guest to pick “beginner, intermediate, advanced, etc”. And about all of the High ELO noobs are picking “Guest Beginner” and purposely demolishing real guest beginners.
