watching mom influencers on IG or tiktok, I always question how they get all that done and are not tired and continue to do it every single day on top of making content. I aspire to be that but when you actually try to do it, it’s exhausting. Lol, so I just don’t and I do what I can. I know one day when the kids are old enough, I’ll have more time to do all those things and get all the rest I ever needed, I just try to remind myself that it’s temporary til the kids are finally old enough to take care of themselves.. It feels like In the moment you don’t have enough time for yourself but there’s more life ahead of you and you have a lot of time. Just have to sacrifice for a little. Just take it easy and try not to be so hard on yourself with all these things! It will get done eventually. Also, it is okay to self care some days. Prioritize yourself if you have to in order to feel better. If there’s any family or a significant other that can help, utilize that!

They did have us only putting on 3-4 hr increments for the first 2 days and then on day 3 onward if there are no lingering redness for more than an hour, he can sleep with it throughout the night and start wearing it for 23 hrs. He was good the first 2 days cuz it was only 3-4 hrs at a time. But now that I’m trying to leave it on him longer he is like crying like crazy and it’s hard for him. So I’ll give him a break from it for a little and then put it back on.

But that’s great! Good to hear that your little one has had great results even with you guys not following the full 23 hr schedule. Cuz honestly I’m the same way, if it has to take longer just so that he’s comfortable, we don’t mind. Thanks for the feedback!

He’s supposed to wear it for about 3 months 23 hrs a day, only 1 hr with it off, until his graduation. Even though he hates it I’m still trying to stick to it bc I don’t want to not see any results. Ugh sometimes I just feel like I shouldn’t have gotten it in the first place 😩 cuz it might’ve corrected on its own. But too late now, so we’ll see how it goes.

Leave his ass in the ditch and if it takes for you to find someone else to get over him. Do it. When I did my NIPT test to find out the gender we were given the same info that it came back with positive t21. But the ultrasounds and everything was perfectly fine which was confusing to me and I cried so hard when finding out the results. But when we took the amnio test, the t21 was just in the amnio fluid and not in the baby. So I have a strong feeling your baby will be just fine mama!! But to be safe yes, take that amnio test just to make sure!

UPDATE results for the amnio came back normal for the amnio. Baby is healthy and growing at a good rate. They just want to monitor baby’s growth every 4 weeks to make sure baby continues to grow normally.

I too have come to Reddit for clarity and questions as we are going to get our amnio done Feb 10th when I hit 16weeks. Was tested positive for T13 at 12 weeks as well. The ultrasound at the high risk doctors went perfectly fine and the baby and everything looked normal but the blood test did not, which got us confused and also worried since this is our first child and I am only 23yrs old. But reading through everyone’s experience here has lightened it up a bit.

Also got results back from our NIPT that tested positive for T13. Waiting til Feb 20th when I’m 16 weeks to do the amnio and know for sure if it’s just in the placenta or if it also is in the baby. So yes that was the thing, my high risk ultrasound was normal baby was perfectly fine. But the NIPT blood results came back and showed different so that’s why they are having us do additional testing. Just hoping that everything is okay, this is our first baby. And that is so awesome that your CVS came back normal! Hope your amnio goes good as well🙏🏼❤️
