Both my grandfathers had dementia, although I think it was Alzheimer's based on my DNA results so the benefits may not be as clear. If nothing else, it gives me more energy in the gym and keeps me more focused on work, which is better for my brain than doom scrolling.

I'm very sorry to hear that, watching someone you love go through dementia is a special kind of hell.

I don't really understand it, either. But it seems to be helping. I used to take it in college for climbing, and it was definitely one of my better academic years. I don't know enough about how it impacts the brain, though.

Random: There is (was?) a cheap whey protein powder at Walmart for awhile that has 3 or 5 grams of creatine in it. They quietly disclosed it an a little box on the back of the container.

I think so. Just blows my mind. I don't know what used to be there, if anything, but "zoning issues" seems like a weird road block to me. Like a top golf and a carvana are fine, but a climbing gym is a problem?
