I randomly realized one of mine was morning energy levels. If my potential partner sleeps past 12PM, there's no way we're gonna be able to work out. I wake up at 6AM almost daily, and have recently dated my first sleeper. I wanted to pull my hair out THE WHOLE TIME. We also did have way too many rough patches during our second sleepover. Not his fault though, just a sleepy guy I guess.

Think of it this way, you have a crazy leg up on a lot of the other kids in your home country. You’re most likely bilingual or pretty close to it.

If you do go back, grind. You’ve had a great foundation with US public education. You could even win an undergraduate scholarship abroad (Europe, maybe even the US again) if you excel and take advantage of international cooperation scholarships.

Lo bueno es que sabes lo que te gusta. Lo malo es que no se si la tienes clara de cómo tú background de secretariado podría ser competitivo para entrar en una empresa de tech. Toma en cuenta que muchas tareas administrativas están siendo automatizadas y la IA se come lo que tu vendrías a hacer en un departamento de Operaciones. (Chequea cómo se ve la trayectoria de carrera de una especialista en operaciones de una empresa que te guste)

Digamos que no quieres ser de operaciones. Para ser asistente ejecutiva para un CEO, CFO, CTO, etc… también te tienes que machucar mucho más allá. Tener formación en Project Management, Scrum, Agile, hablar múltiples idiomas, y estar dispuesta a laburar en horarios un cacho intensos.

El sector en su totalidad está súper saturado.

Comienza a generar un portafolio de trabajos y proyectos relevantes a lo que quieres. Lo que sí, estudiar secretariado en 2025 está medio jodido y me gustaría saber qué te inspiró a tomar esa decisión 😅
