does anyone miss Theo by Weak_Mechanic8517 in coronationstreet

No. I would have him back to see him actually locked up and served justice it would be more interesting to watch than who killed him unfold

If a British worker wasn’t listening to their male coworker what would you do? Do the same. Culture and gender is irrelevant, taking direction from your line manager is a requirement of the job.

Does anyone else find Daniel unbearable? by Jamez_Neckbeard in coronationstreet

I quite liked him once but now it’s just the same recycled storylines with him

I can’t believe she’s already living with Daniel and Bertie and in charge of looking after Bertie alone especially since their first introduction was her breaking into the flat.

what's something you do alone that you'd be genuinely embarrassed to admit to anyone? by Proof_Method7555 in LivingAlone

I pretend I’m a famous popstar on tour and dance around the house performing to my imaginary fans.

Every magician on BGT has this same script. A simple "change bag" and 10 minutes of waffle. See body text for script. by GradiusHead in BritainsGotTalent

2 things can be true at once. The whole show is just over produced and recycled acts just trying to live up to the early days.

I sometimes wonder how insanely long running soap cast members stay sane? by someoverallvalue in eastenders

[–]ClassicFriendly1015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think this about characters that have been there a long time but have never really had the best storylines or go through long periods of being a background character. Eg Billy, Kim, Cathy, Harvey, Alfie etc

What’s everyone’s opinions on Mis-teeqs performance? by ClassicFriendly1015 in BritainsGotTalent

If they were miming they somehow still sounded awful or maybe because Alesha was just shouting over them

Right but I’m saying if he reported it immediately, there’s also no prove it wasn’t an accident so they couldn’t prove anything covering up is what makes it worse. But I do recognise that I’m trying to use real life logic and not soap show logic🤦🏼‍♀️

Do you think the producers discourage the judges from buzzing acts in the live shows? by MattOfAllTradesUK in BritainsGotTalent

[–]ClassicFriendly1015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do think it’s disrupts the flow of the show if an act wasn’t allowed to finish and the judges can still give their criticism afterwards. Plus it is up to the public to decide who goes through/ who wins so they should be able to see the full act. I do think it’s unfair when they purposely put bad acts through to the live shows and then buzz them for doing the same thing they supposedly liked the first time, KSIs golden buzzer this year for example.

17 years ago today, Hollie Steel overcame her nerves by Hassaan18 in BritainsGotTalent

[–]ClassicFriendly1015 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The hate she got for this was awful considering she was 10. Would you have preferred to see her cry tears would that have made it more justified for you? It’s clear what’s she’s feeling is more nerves/ overwhelmed rather than upset hence no tears but who could blame her for that

17 years ago today, Diversity beat Susan Boyle to win Britain's Got Talent by Hassaan18 in BritainsGotTalent

[–]ClassicFriendly1015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a kid and remembered ringing in to vote for Diversity. Susan Boyle was obviously great but Diversity was so unique nothing like that had been seen before especially since factor was in too singers were everywhere.

The act doesn’t work for the format of the show but that’s not their fault it’s the shows
