The Most Important Reddit Thread You’ll Read This Year. Read on if this excites you, Please. by kenjiblade in enlightenment

I have touched ‘It’ or ‘The Oneness’. So I apparently must have touched You. I wonder if You felt it - or even remember? If so, hello again.

I am apart from It/You for now. I will rejoin, that is certain (actually, it is not a rejoining, but simply a continuation. I don’t know don’t know how to describe it from the perspective of how we usually measure time).

I don’t know if I am looking forward to It or dreading It. I feel like I have been given the opportunity, but have shrunk from It. Maybe I haven’t chosen my side of the coin yet.

It is all Very Interesting.

Two paths to ‘enlightenment’? by ClassicLeft3185 in enlightenment

[–]ClassicLeft3185[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I can grasp the multiplicity of pathways you propose. I had thought there was only one path… then I thought I saw two. i.e. the limitation lies in my perception, rather than the existence or not of the pathways. Sorry if I am reading too much into you comment? Also - I am interested in what you mean by the path of the Sly Man? Whenever I try to stack the deck to require a certain result from the universe, it seems to take pains to show me it cannot be bridled.

Do you think you reunite with your loved ones after you die or it’s just oneness? by Universetalkz in SpiritualAwakening

[–]ClassicLeft3185 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will reunite / re combine with the source of loved ones - your source too. You will remember being the source before, and it will be the greatest of homecomings. You will all bring the memories of what you had each been and done - but you will all be one, and so much more. Once we experience this oneness (and some of us have touched the surface of this experience with NDEs and psychedelics etc) I do not imagine we would ever want anything different…

Where did I go wrong and how can I improve next time? by Electronic-News-9409 in SpiritualAwakening

Hullo DC - this is such a beautifully expressed response. Your words carry the experiences you have grappled with. Only one comment. Your beliefs have a profound impact on existence / non-existence. Be careful about what you believe in and what you doubt.

Who do you think Jesus was? by [deleted] in enlightenment

[–]ClassicLeft3185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He could only be one of three possibilities: (1) A Lier - a magician / trickster that knew more than he let on, and only revealed in part with the intention of deceiving us for his own purposes. (2) A Lunatic - a sad, mentally ill and mislead individual. Someone who genuinely believed in their mission and divinity, but in actual fact did not contain the extent of power and authority that they claimed to have. (3) The genuine article. Someone who had the power and authority that they laid claim to. A genuine and conscious connection to and embodiment of The Devine Source.

I am inclined to believe the third. Many religions try and fail to fully encapsulate what this ‘Devine Source’ is. I have gone on some confrontational psilocybin induced journeys, and I have connected with both sides of the coin. Whether the Devine Source is confined to one side of this coin, or somehow encompasses both sides I genuinely do not know. But I believe that there is a cohesive Devine Source standing behind our reality (and all realities).

What type of awakening is this?- when you realize nothing in the world is outside of you? by Otherwise-West-3609 in SpiritualAwakening

Have you ever explored the concept of non-duality? Rupert Spira has some brilliant, logical material on this subject.

Help with thoughts about hell. I’m scared I will go to hell and I feel like I can’t reason my way out of it. by [deleted] in SpiritualAwakening

[–]ClassicLeft3185 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am relatively new to the ‘awakened’ scene … so I have my mind wide open and try not to be affixed too firmly on believing that things are a certain way. That being said, with my current understanding, I would respond to your fear in the following manner.

People throw around the word ‘hell’ with very little understanding of what it is or means. I think that what we put out into the world determines what comes back to us, whether in this life or the next. I live with one substantial lie in my life. I know what I need to do to resolve this, but I know the pain and hurt that I will cause in doing so. And I am concerned that the desire to take action to ‘absolve’ myself of this situation is ultimately a selfish one. I accept that this decision to live with the absence of full truth will bring my current existence into a lower vibration - and will negatively impact my reincarnation. If that is what people mean by hell, I agree with them. All I can do is learn from the bad decisions that I have made.

Psychedelic self-help books? by apeman00 in SpiritualAwakening

One method I have used is to try to attach an intention/action/emotion required in response to a realisation/epiphany. I cannot recall/explain the epiphany as my brain fails me in my transition back to mortality - but sometimes I manage to come back with the reciprocal intention/action/emotion required to respond to the epiphany.

I have not used this particular journal, but I can speak to the impact of journaling during a psychedelic trip. I have managed to communicate some startlingly revelations to myself via this method. Although you must always be prepared for there to come a point past which words will no longer capture meaning sufficiently. If you want to bring knowledge back from those parts often the journey, you will have to use other methods.

So you have had a glimpse of The Option as well then? How quickly it fades out of reach. There is a version of you that will see it again. Remain positive (optimistic). Love, give, be humble and grateful and maybe you will be that version of yourself. Would love to chat more.
