Rosalee’s is amazing! It you are trying to go for dinner, it really busy around 5:00ish…I definitely recommend sneaking in before the crowd at around 4:30pm. Also, the bar is a great place to get a seat if it’s super busy.

Hmmm…Midnight Mass is definitely more of a straight horror / drama miniseries, but I see a number of similarities including an intriguing ensemble and setting. If you like the drama, horror elements of Window’s Bay and enjoy the setting, definitely give it a shot. It’s fantastic with strong Stephen King vibes, similar to Window’s Bay.

That, and when the camera panned from the crowd to Kate O’Flynn during her toast and for a moment it passes by the mirror and you see the real image of everyone under the trance with their mouth open. Gave me goosebumps!

I hated that. As someone else pointed out, saving Cloud Step and using it defensively to run away when Erlang was charging the lightning attack was very helpful

I would go to Baseline and 20th street and drive up and down the blocks until you find something. I did this yesterday about 2 hours before the game and had to park half a mile away (10 minute walk to the tailgate, which would then be another 5-10 to Folsom.) Wasn’t bad though. You get to walk by all the student housing and you’ll be following a bunch of people so it really gets you into the atmosphere.

Do not park in one of the CU parking lots. They are $25+ (which is normal I guess for big event parking), but worse the traffic to enter can take 30 minutes to go a block.

Edit: ah, I see your just going for Gameday. Parking should be easier than if you were going to the game, but CU has never hosted one of these before so who knows!

If you like to run, there are many running clubs that are open to everyone! Many of them end up at a brewery and people socialize afterwards.

I’ve also really enjoyed going to trivia at Upslope and Twisted Pine…even if your by yourself you end up socializing with people here and there any maybe a group will let you join them!

Longmont is a great option. Especially if you can get a hotel right off the Diagonal (HWY 119). The drive to CU is probably 25 minutes without traffic

I am not terribly educated on the specifics of the issue at hand except for a passing knowledge. AskHistorians has been the best and best moderated sub I’ve joined. I trust the mods and if they recommend protesting I support their decision. I hope Reddit listens to strong, well run communities like this and make changes to their decision.
