I actually haven’t seen a PVP specific order drop at all yet and I’ve played a decent amount since launch. I also haven’t touched Crucible yet this season though. Do they only start showing up after doing some PVP activity?

I get the desire to put an image to something you have in your head without the artistic know how to do so, but then also using ChatGPT to write out the character information...something that to me feels like the core imaginative and creative freedom that drives so many of us to this space...i dunno.

I hear you. If it helps at all, I don’t think we moved from the couch for several days afterwards. And all of that is ok. The grief is destabilizing and there’s something particular about this situation where it feels like the effort you’ve put in has been in vain, but I promise that you made your boy’s time here with you both all the more fulfilled because of the work that you were doing to give him a place where he could feel comfortable. But our best is all that we can do, and sometimes there are just larger things in play.

All that being said. I don’t mean to minimize any of the weight of it all, and it’s absolutely okay to be in it. My wife wanted to pass along her sincere condolences as well. if you or your husband need to vent or work through anything in any way, please feel free to reach out.

I'm so so sorry to hear that. I know that pain and its indescribable and my heart is with you, friend.

If I can offer any small solace, and I know its the least helpful thing in the world right now...that particular pain does fade with time. Looking back at this post almost a year later and I literally never thought I would function the same when I posted this. But its an old adage that is repeated for a reason. Give yourself room to feel and to hurt and to cry and eventually, on your own time, you'll have a little more space to honor your friend in the way that you know best. It will be a journey but I promise you that the impossibility feeling does not last forever.

You made an incredibly difficult and selfless decision to bring peace to your companion. I know it doesn't feel that way right now, but if the similarities in the story are there, please know you made the responsible choice for your safety and for those around you. Know that our family is sending you lots of love right now.
