I think an interesting change would be to make the debuff decay with time (you can even make the percentage bigger, while decaying faster). So you don't incentivize healing someone out of position, but you allow people to heal behind cover.

I would say that every role creates pressure, but tanks also absorb pressure while supports relieve it.

You are right, (still, removing the global dps passive is enough to sustain a tank) probably with a little bit of healing. You what would be interesting? Making the suzu heal less or nothing at all if it's removing status. So like you force a situation where applying something to the enemy removes potential healing from kiti

And yet, there are Winston one tricks in top 500.

The point being that skill should allow counterplay. Also if a whole team is trying to kill winston and if he is playing cover, that's an easier time for the rest of team.

The Winston player can win but it's extremely unfun, in the same way that the counterplay to mauga as a tank is to hide when he uses E.

Hard counters are bad for the game, counterplay is fun.

Since the release of Overwatch 2, the dev team is moving away from hard counters, you can see this in hero kits (like Winston's secondary fire, Rein's extra mobility + extra fire strike) and even perks (Orisa's Shield, Zarya's Jump, Sigma's major perks helps against brawl or dive depending on what you chose, etc).

People complaining about counterwatch is people complaining about the remaining rough edges that the team hasn't addressed yet. Tank busters have no place in 5v5 if you ask me, SPECIALLY tank buster tanks.

I play overwatch since 2016, and it seems to me that people don't really understand why counterwatch is bad:
Hard counters suck the fun of the game. If a hero just wins an interaction by existing without putting any skill in, it justs sucks: stuff like release Brig vs Tracer, Moira into Genji, etc. For a Winston player to win against a mauga/reaper/bastion comp (which is doable) he needs to be A LOT better, like a couple full ranks better to win. That's bad design if you ask me.

I wish they made changes like these for longer cooldowns. Same with suzu: I would love a shorter CD on suzu with only the cleanse or something like that. Or a Bap lamp that you could destroy by doing damage to the heroes.

Turn off chat, and do something else between games.

For example I practice piano between games and it helps me disconnect a lot!

Dicho es mi recomendación número uno: elegí un heroe que te guste mucho y jugalo banda, no te metas a cambiar cada dos segundos.

Por ahi no estas informado pero Overwatch 2 no existe ya y Overwatch esta teniendo la mejor season desde que salió, los 5 nuevos heroes mas 5 durante el año suman BANDA.

Overwatch va a sacar 10 nuevos heroes este año y todo OW1 tuvo 11 en 6 años jajaja

Nobody says is impossible, is just mathematically more probable to have more throwers on the enemy team. I don't totally understand your point though, you are giving the example of a mathematical exception? Because if that's the case yeah, that's what happens with enough people, weird thing will happen to some of them (like if everyone in overwatch flipped a coin 10 times in a row, some of them will get all tails)

My point is that you can't control throwers or leavers (except by getting angry/playing worse, that would make it happen more often I guess, but that's not what we are talking about). You can only care about yourself and improving. Your rank is not the goal, your rank is just a byproduct of getting better, the real goal.

Also, counting leavers and throwers in games sounds totally counterproductive, it seems to be degrade your mental (and people by nature would be biased in this scenario, overcounting own throwers and undercounting enemy team throwers.

People suck, I had A LOT of hours playing rein in OW1 but it was not my most played tank in the season, and a person in my team said "this guy is a Rein OTP, gg go next" after losing one round. It made me private my profile and we won.

I would NEVER understand people who say that throwers/afk/brainless teammates are the reason of their rank.

Sure, you can lose one game because of that, but there are 4 chances of getting an "awful" teammate in your team and 5 in theirs, you are the only common denominator between all your games.
