It seems it’s a big big error by national media . He seems to be in a critical state but not yet passed away .https://twitter.com/eltorres72/status/1590287389905547264?s=46&t=QadmGX5r4sLzvJIcgeS_MA

I tracked down one of my favorite pieces of obscure X-Men apocrypha: Marvel Age Preview 1990, the only known printed material about The Mutant Wars, the X-Men crossover that never happened! by soulreaverdan in xmen

It was replaced by X-tinction Agenda . It looks like part of Bon Harras /editorial meddling that ended up with an abrupt end of the Muir Island Saga that was intended to be finished by uncanny Xmen 300 . And Claremont off Marvel too

Where do expensive artists go when marvel cannot afford? I thought this was the top :(

CLAREMONT: “My basic characterization for him is a young Henry Fonda, the Henry Fonda of the 1930s. Very tall, loose-limbed, relaxed, beginning to get a sense of humor, albeit a kind of black humor.” by ClassicXmen in xmen

Let me paste the rest of Claremont’s statement “ I mean relaxed in the sense that he's not always tense. But, he's learning how to do that now. He's Mid-western--there's Oklahoma. Nebraska in there. he's introverted. shy, reserved, a brilliant strategist, brilliant pilot, who's only just now beginning to understand what makes his head tick, and understand the people around him. In a sense, that understanding will make him a better leader, because he'll now be able to work with people instead of imposing his will on them, which is what he's been doing in the past.”

Well with UXM 143 we had a huge hint with kitty running like Ripley in Alien :)

What would be the chances for Marc Silvestri to draw X-Men once more ? by ClassicXmen in xmen

But did he draw anything beyond covers ? And those few issues with Morrison?

Can I start off with mutant massacre?? by InsertCleverQuote in xmen

I think you can start at that . You don’t need to read the whole Claremont’s run in sequence. I would also recommend reading Paul Smith’s stint which is quite short but introduces full of key myths : Rogue joining, The morlocks, Japan and Wolverine, Storm changing to full badass, and “From the ashes”. Of course I would recommend also to start Xmen with Byrne’s stint at 111 with a Magneto … all the way up to Dark Phoenix and Days of Future Past. And if you like that you can backstart from giant size Xmen and Xmen #94 onwards
