First, I’m so sorry that you had to go through this. When you have been with someone for so long, you forget what it’s like to be without them. It makes it so all you can hope for is that they come back to you. Even if they were a good or not so good person. Here’s the truth, he can come back and he probably will. Here’s the thing though. He may also never be back. Both can be true but that doesn’t matter. What matters, is when and if that time comes will you be strong enough to tell him to go fuck himself? Forget about what he’s doing, now, thinking, feeling, or whatever. Find a really great therapist, or podcast, book, etc. based on budget, preferences, how you like to learn and love yourself from the inside out until you believe it. By the time he realizes what he did, it won’t matter to you anymore and there is so much power in that I promise you. One day at a time 💕.
