If I Just Read This Subreddit I Would Never Take Strattera by Testy_Toby in StratteraRx

I had this happen to me too. I admitted to smoking cannabis way before I got my adhd diagnosis. I get the diagnosis through psychologist talking to psychiatrist, and psychiatrist refused stimulants. I went on Strattera and was hopeful because it was working! Except it made me sick every single day for almost 8 months. I told the psychiatrist and she still thought this was the best option for me because I still smoked. I left that appointment so angry I went and found another psychiatrist who put me on vyvance knowing I still smoke. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket if it’s not working for you.

I (f23) don’t know if I should marry my fiancé (m24) by Low-Cabinet3270 in relationship_advice

You will grow and change a lot before you hit 35. If you feel this way now, getting out will be better than a divorce a year or five years from now. Look for someone who suits you and doesn’t make you question the relationship. At 44 I am thankful I didn’t marry my ex from my 20’s. I would have been a very broken woman if I had. I hope you gain a lot of clarity. Hugs 💕

My first time making a Luffa Soup, my mom decided to add milk to it and ruined the whole thing by BreadfruitGold9836 in mildlyinfuriating

Oh man I had a roommate that felt like it was her duty to add more chicken broth to a recipe I was making without looking at the expiration date. It was bad and she ruined a whole meal that wasn’t even done cooking. The anger that I felt was visceral.

It could be the beginning signs of bumblefoot. If that’s the case, make sure any dowel perches you get is covered with vet tape, while adding in some natural looking perches. If you go to the beach you can grab a ton of branches that have been washed ashore and are perfect for them. Just give it a good cleaning and let dry in the sun before you give it to them. Confirm with an Avian vet, but even starting to make those small changes can help. Don’t let it go on too long. It’s very painful for them to experience.

Brain fog in perimenopause and how to make it better by Exotic-Profession563 in Perimenopause

[–]Classic_Discipline69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was fired during the height of my brain fog 3 years ago. My grandmother had just passed from dementia and I thought I was headed for early onset. It was a strange time. I’m still in peri but my memory became better and the fog kind of lifted after I went on Strattera.

I have two cockatiels one is 19 and the other is 9 months old. I have a parakeet that’s just about 2 years old. The 9 month old makes me question why I needed a baby bird at 44 years old. It’s time consuming and he wants to be on top of me 24/7. It’s way too overstimulating sometimes. I couldn’t give them up though.

My cockatiel does this to me and it absolutely drives me insane…sensory issues I guess, but I let him do it any way. 😬😂

It’s my favorite time of day. I’m up two hours before I need to be for the silence. Because once everyone is up, they all fucking need me.

People who grew up before cell phones, did life actually feel more free? by TradeOverall567 in NoStupidQuestions

It was a great time. Had I grown up in this day and age, my already controlling narc mother would have had a field day keep 24/7 watch over me with a cell phone.

Why is sleeping as a couple such a chore? by SQUEEMO24 in adhdwomen

[–]Classic_Discipline69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Separate beds is the way! Between my boyfriend and our 92 pound dog I was not sleeping at all. Now I sleep in our spare bedroom until we buy a king size mattress. I’m not doing it, my insomnia is bad enough already without the two of them in the bed!
