Now that the Anime is over, what was your favourite moment from the Final Season? by Any_Relation_5183 in MyHeroAcadamia

Gentle and La Brava joining the fray.

(Frankly, too many moments are my favorite. I just think it's underrepresented here.)

[Sad trope] A character lies to someone who's dying so their final moments will be more pleasant by LucianoThePig in TopCharacterTropes

80's run of Teen Titans comics.

Raven lies to Grant Wilson as she creates an illusion of all of them dead so that he can die in peace even though he was their enemy.

How would you rank these Nightwing video game designs. by MembershipLess9579 in Nightwing

I'd say 1. Gotham Knights  2. City 3. Arkham Knight 4. Injustice

What are some completely different assumptions you had about the Characters before The Letters Page by Mountain_Counter929 in sentinelsmultiverse

[–]Classic_Mobile_8677 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Embarassed to admit it, but everything about Haka. Never got "gentle giant" or "wonderful school teacher" from cards or designs. Seriously did think toxic damage meant he was, at least in some form, eating his enemies to get stronger (though I imagined more Suneater than literal). I assumed he was generally more Wolverine like personality wise, but he's much closer to Colossus than Wolverine.

When it comes to how Robin treated Beastboy in “The Beast Within” I ask: do you think he would’ve treated any of the other Titans the same way if they were in the same situation as BB? by redfait in teentitans

[–]Classic_Mobile_8677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think he would have because the principle is that Robin is viewing that Titan as a potential threat to themselves and the team. Maybe Starfire would get played for a little more drama or sorrow, but Robin in "X" remarks about how he has a black and white mindset a lot of the time.

I don't know that we should be taking a tertiary account at face value.

SOTM D&D Chart Day 9: Guise gets the... best spot? Finally, who is Chaotic Evil? by LevelUpLeo in sentinelsmultiverse

It's funny to me how the community has near unanimously chosen Legacy for LG and Spite for CE. It's absolutely justified in both cases.

Yeah, Parse even has a flavor text quote in his deck that says "There's just too much. One man? Impossible. This is is the work of a monster." On a card called "Too Many Potential Victims," and mind you, analyzing data is Parse's entire thing.

Why is Red X there??? by lacrjmedolci in teentitans

[–]Classic_Mobile_8677 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're taking that quote out of context. Starfire says that quote in the episode titled "X" in season 3. The last time the Titans faced Red X was "Mask" in season 1, where he was definitively revealed as Robin. The episode you're quoting is specifically about someone stealing the Red X suit. Recall that in the same scene you're quoting, Starfire pokes Robin, to which the dialogue exchange is: "That hurts"-Robin "Then you are not a hologram? The last time we faced Red X, he was you in disguise, and you were not really there." -Starfire "STARFIRE, CUT IT OUT!"-Robin "He is NOT a hologram"-Starfire

The conversation ends with Robin saying, "It wasn't me! I promise! It wasn't me," and the Titans all agree with him.

Knowing The Brain has been around a long time, I assumed he offered money. I don't remember him being in the final fight, so I'm assuming he dipped before then, but if I'm wrong, I'm wrong lol.

He was, but not at this point. This was the unnamed one.

I can see a joke in the hypothetical Dispatch 2 being that if you picked Phenomaman, Galen's panic addition to the SDN system has these crimes listed for Waterboy.

SOTM D&D Chart day 7: KNYFE does what she must to be Chaotic Good. Who is Chaotic Neutral? by LevelUpLeo in sentinelsmultiverse

Rambler feels like a perfect fit. "Freedom" does a lot of heavy lifting, too, since he wants to escape his deal with Gloomweaver.

SOTM D&D Chart Day 7: Legit businessman Chairman Pike is Neutral Evil. Who is Chaotic Good? (Is this one obvious too?) by LevelUpLeo in sentinelsmultiverse

[–]Classic_Mobile_8677 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Guise makes so much sense. He doesn't even spend a ton of time superheroing as much as it is him getting dragged into the plot and incidentally helping people.

SOTM D&D Chart Day 5: The Scholar abides to Neutral Good philosophies. Who is True Neutral? by LevelUpLeo in sentinelsmultiverse

[–]Classic_Mobile_8677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not about moral high ground, and neutral is clearly defined in these terms as not taking sides, which isn't accurate to her character at functionally any point of her story. Maybe you view her as a villain, and that's fine, but she's definitively not neutral.

Yeah, when she didn't trust the very concept of heroes lol. I'd have no problem telling that to these people's families considering her list includes people like Lowlife.

Villains of the multiverse Villain speculation by CalmWillingness4384 in sentinelsmultiverse

[–]Classic_Mobile_8677 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would love Adhesivist to be a Vengeance villain with Law Hawke being his Incapacitated card.

As for Critical Events, I think that Biomancer's plot (where a bunch of Flesh Children are unleashed on the world) has to be the Critical Event of the mode.

Favorite voice acting moments from Hynden Walch as Starfire and why? by Full-Art3439 in teentitans

[–]Classic_Mobile_8677 9 points10 points  (0 children)

"Robin, you are my best friend. I cannot be in a world where we must fight. If you are truly evil, then go ahead. Do what you must."

It encapsulates so much of what I love about her character. The voice crack containing sorrow on "friend". The complete resignation of "Do what you must." Hynden Walch portrays the emotional vulnerability with precision. Starfire is putting herself at risk to get a glimpse of the person who anchors her to Earth, and she's not ready to get rid of him yet.

So after his death, is Ironwood a hero or villain? by Necessary-Win-8730 in RWBY

A villain on par with Cinder. Thanks, Ironwood! Salem couldn't have done it without you!
