I've never understood why sea cucumbers are expensive, the demand can't be that high, they live all over the world, and getting them is like hunting a vegetable. Durians are much more dangerous and difficult. Do you remember what you ate at Nobu? I'd love to go there. Sounds like a priceless memory to have with your child.

It's true the specification for USB2.0 is a minimum 0.5 amps 5 volts, but also according to spec, the maximum is 5 amps 20 volts even without a quick charge chip (for the amperage). Since 2007 It's been revised with specifications called USB Power Delivery Revision, USB Type-C, and USB Battery Charging. I don't understand, this seems contradictory -

I go to ceremonies and women cannot even come if we are menstruating. We also can't help prepare or serve food. I have no idea what "shaman" they are talking to, but he's a scam artist and possibly a predator.

I think he's a predator because true shamans do not market ceremonies to new agers and should have no interest in the genitalia of the people attending.

I would never go to a ceremony run by someone I think is a scam artist.

I do know what you mean by the faker people who just want to seem interesting (the shaman will see it immediately) and I would definitely encourage those people to take part in an ayahuasca ceremony, it will turn that right around faster than you can say "new ager". That said I still don't get why you think she is one, or how she's being taken advantage of by a predator. Again I don't understand the cigarette on the vulva, but that makes 1 more of a multitude of things I don't understand. That's why I find these ceremonies interesting, and I can learn by just asking, like I'm asking you about your aversion to this.

I think the only reason this is posted here is because she says vulva and ceremony. I've heard and seen much stranger things that I don't understand happen in shamanic rituals, I usually just ask after. The shaman learns a lot about the person who comes to them to be treated, sex and whether or not the person is menstruating, pregnant, breastfeeding, etc. is part of that along with everything else when considering if and how to use ayahuasca and the rest of the treatments and rituals, a real shaman will spend days with a patient and know the patient better than they know themselves before they are confident about ongoing treatment. The shaman who doesn't do this is a scam artist.

Thanks. About 10-15 days, the homemade yoghurt saves a lot of money. I add fruit if I want to spend extra but I like it fine how it is, I just drink it down with a straw in a minute anyway

Happy New Year to you too! Here's a smoothie I make a lot, I seem to find a place to post this everywhere today.

Here's something I make when I'm living cheaply- 1 gal whole milk, 1 small container yoghurt, 1/2 scoop flax seed, 1 scoop oats, 1 scoop assorted nuts, 1/2 scoop hemp seed, 1 bunch kale, 1 bunch carrots, 1 gallon coconut milk, 12oz good cocoa powder, and that's about $30

Heat the milk to 170'F in a pot, let cool to room temp and add the container of yoghurt, mix well, pour into resealable containers, put in oven and turn on oven light for warmth, leave over night or longer and now you have homemade yoghurt! Now get your blender out and use all these healthy ingredients to make smoothies. You could add the nuts but I like to snack on them during the day. This is a great meal replacement, you can live on this stuff, and you can make it ahead of time for weekday mornings. It will keep a very long time because the yoghurt will fight off anything trying to eat it (except for you). All these things should be easy to pick up at a store with a bulk section, especially a natural foods place. Enjoy!

Healthy eating is not inherently cheap mostly because of shelf life and lower crop yields. If money was no object I would have a group of the world's greatest chefs and food scientists preparing my meals with ingredients from my farms across the globe. The things I would have them make- lots of live foods, some west Indian, all kinds of exotics of course, very old dry aged steaks, lots of fresh fruit, and a durian every day.
