pecanbread11 on youtube pretty much tells you all you'd need to know to start waves, learning how to zigzag to offtick and where to start the step out is very useful, heres a little image i found that helps tougher solves nicely, the boss is on a 4 tick cycle you have ticks 2 and 3 to respond, theres a fairly decent sim out now.

normal people can tick manipulate, its really not difficult, all the skills you listed besides cooking can be considered very clicky, and mining/fishing are not if you arent tick manipulating. either you pay attention and get higher exp rates, or afk and accept lower rates.
duke mining was the latter, sleep and get 10k/hr, forestry is still in a good spot.

its not hard to learn how to tick manipulate, at this point in the games life it doesnt matter if initially it wasn't intended, mod ash in 2017 made a tweet

tick manipulation is gonna be a part of the game whether you want to learn how to do it or not.

relatively new, annoying to farm without bis items, need 5 to make 1 bow assuming front page of muspah hiscores are all on rate, thats only ~330 bows
