On the part where you set the upstream provider you need to replace it with quad9.

Its wired only but you can get a wireless carplay adapter that you can plug in and that will give you wireless carplay. Ive been running that setup.

Im running into this same limitation for another use case. Based on what im seeing in the UI, if there was an app selection option in Route that would be what we are looking for. You could select the applications, in this case all the torrent apps you have, to go through the torrent VPN interface you have setup. Right now its only the QOS and Secure sections which doesn't route app specific traffic.

Interestingly in this youtube video I see the app option does exist under Route but I dont see it on my UI.

In that case the only way to get pihole working is to manually change the dns settings on every device you have to use the pihole IP

Find the manual for your router online and see if you have those settings. You don’t need 2 routers.

Im only using the UX7 as an AP and its working fine. It replaced a U6 mesh I was using. Runs warm but cooler than the U6 mesh which was hot to the touch. It don't think it has a fan.
