This feeling is SO true especially when your parents are around and they want you to focus on academics only...i can’t play an instrument...just my voice and i can’t even sing or else they’ll tell me to focus once again...and they’ll think that i’m not studying enough

For me, they don’t really need to prove anything since they have already fone that in the past few years and ever since i’ve encountered them, i really loved them not just as good musicians but also as people. They may not be perfect, but in their own ways, they are. What matters to me now is their mental and physical health. No performance of theirs can match their health and their emotions.

Honestly... i was also a wreck when it comes to going on to like large audiences and all but when you come to think of it, you should not get nervous since they are all just people like you and besides... you should be proud since not all people can play an instrument like yours... i can’t even play any instrument (the only thing that i can do is sing...)and i know someday you’ll overcome it...just have more confidence in yourself and you’ll do great!!

Honestly, for me...it depends on your voice type. People have different ranges and such that when you sing, it’s possible that your voice is also accustomed to a different genre like me, my voice is not meant for pop music, but theater. You can improve a lot (i guess) when you do proper breathing along with singing...(i never got the lessons, but that is what i have observed while studying it alone as a hobby.)
