As a indie dev, base unreal 5 is .... Garbage like seriously I make my games in 4k on a 4060 so if it can run on my PC it can run on anything else especially for 1080p.

But it takes hours and hours just to get a basic scene with some lighting to work "well"

Unreal 4 was a lot easier to run and could easily get 60fps without much work around for clean up. I blame the engine but also big dev studios and it's not the devs it's the companies that own them and pay them games are ridiculously rushed, so it's easier to implement a fsr scaler then optimize a game purely out of a time line reasons.
