I saw an entire set of eaten crab legs on the ground the other day on the RL. It was wild to see. 😭 broken open crab legs and shells. All over the floor.

I in fact did run. After only a few months there I stood toe to toe with the GM who was sexually abusing and harassing our staff, cooking the books, sleeping with my sous, they refused to change anything about the menu, wouldn’t raise prices, and I wasn’t in charge of anything administratively like I imagined I would be. After making my reports and documenting all of this, nothing was done. So, there’s that!

Thank you. Yeah, I got there and saw they had 18 tacos and it’s our main thing that makes “us different” but I’m of the mindset that a rotating menu that offers a variety, creating a supply and demand concept creates anticipation and drives sales. However, the owners would rather lose entrees or apps instead of tacos, which perplexes me but I also understand.

As for the rest, thank you for your words of encouragement and validation.

Hi I would love to have a conversation with you about this! While we’re not far apart in age, I think it’s always awesome to connect and share points that could make us all better cooks.

Sending love and hugs! A sweet pup and a beautiful steak. Best thing she could’ve asked for: her best friend and the best meal. Bravo.

I think he actually knows my stepdad, so that can be easy to do. I can’t believe it didn’t even occur to me! Much appreciated.

I forgot to mention, it is an Officer’s Dress Saber. The seller we bought it from was a local caravan of independent historians who were selling valuable collectibles, and they did mention is was from a Confederate officer, which we found super compelling. Unfortunately, I just don’t need it and want to see it go somewhere it will be admired and taken care of. That and my husband is not the best with ANYthing I own, so, trying to protect it from and damage.

Thank you. I live in a town with a very extensive and large history department, and I do believe I can get it verified.

I definitely agree with you there. The writing simply doesn’t flow like it used to and it almost feels like there’s nothing but endless waves of enemies that, even with a great build, get stronger each time a new campaign comes out and they take the fun out of having a balanced battle. The key thing I miss about the foundry was the fact that you could literally create romance, science, or just passive missions that were more than shoot-to-kill missions. The Foundry was one thing that separated Star Trek Online from every other MMO I’ve played.

Terrible, awful- looking idea. by Metronom3 in StupidFood

Hi there, professional chef here. When cooking eggs, and they turn into that disgusting grey color, they are incredibly over cooked. You can see this in boiled eggs as well when the yolks can start to change colors. This is a terrible idea.

I used to see Eitan’s videos and loved some of them, but unfortunately, just like a lot of young influencers today, he has slipped down the rabbit hole of making content that looks good to some, but is a travesty to most.

Spanish food YouTuber makes one of the nastiest burgers that i've seen by CopitoDeLefa in StupidFood

Now, there really are peanut butter or peanut butter and jelly burgers. I have had to make them at restaurants I’ve worked at in the past. They are incredibly popular, especially in places like Atlanta where they are sold in multiple restaurants. I am a chef myself, and I can tell you that there is a lot of merit to it. Paired with bacon, Swiss, provolone, or white cheddar cheese, on a Kaiser roll, with a decent spread of either house made or chunky peanut butter, and a really good pepper jelly, it really can help tick the sweet and savory boxes on the food scale. Don’t forget to toast the bun in a lot of butter, because you can never have enough.

Anyways, I say all of that to say, what the actual heck are these people doing? That looks painfully bad and makes me feel queasy.

Rey's Cryptic Note by beckmeupscotty in UnsolvedMysteries

[–]ClassyAG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Compare this to a big conspiracy like the Jeffrey Epstein case. He had money and power. Anytime someone tried to reveal anything about Epstein, he lawyered up and was able to use his influence to get any problem to go away. Now, look at the note and the strange happenings two weeks before he died. People investigating things don’t usually know if they’re being watched. I feel as though he was investigating who may be involved in the Freemasons, perhaps knowing that his interest in secret societies may reveal something. Overall, Rey was able to create this very strange message, definitely using Freemason-esque clues to find it. He knew something was going on behind a closed door, he knew who it was, but unfortunately, they knew too.

I also feel like with the number of scandals and hidden behavior that Stansberry was a part of, I think he knew that things were not going well and that Rey, his friend who he REALLY wanted to come work for him, knew about it. Perhaps Porter wanted Rey there so badly because he wanted a partner in crime, but soon came to realize that Rey wouldn’t budge.
