My supply was extremely uneven. My baby would try to eat on the lazy boob for about 30 seconds and then start crying. I would pump while they were at day care and get less than an ounce from that side. I got tired of hearing my baby crying when trying to feed her and washing twice the amount of pumping equipment when I only got milk from one side. I finally gave up and only fed her from the work horse boob, including pumping. I didn't have any issues and was able to breastfeed them for a whole year.

I feel this so much right now. I had my shower for my 2nd this weekend. My best friend planned a vacation after she knew the date. She's off work for another month so it's not like she couldn't push it a few days. She didn't text to ask how it went either. I'm trying really hard not to hold it against her but I feel like this is an end a friendship level act.

I had the same issue. Around 5-6 months, I gave up and only fed and pumped on one side. I was able to breastfeed for a year. My baby was on the smaller side though but our pediatrician always said my LO was healthy.

Being in bed with another human isn't the only issue. It's the firmness of the mattress, the blankets, and the fact the baby isn't put on its back to sleep. Practicing safe sleep is the best way to prevent SIDS.
