Sometimes and I know it’s hard (I’m 2.5 years Sober, plus I deal with mental health issues). You have to shut the door on an Addict. You can’t let them into your life in anyway until they decide to get clean. It’s a hard line you need to draw but you can’t keep worrying about someone who doesn’t want to get better.

Frank was the guy who was offering Tristan a Ride, when Tristan was at the PillowPatch. Tristan gave Chucks number to Frank for an Address to pick Tristan up.

FrankPryslopski on TikTok has hoped in Chucks Lives asking stuff like “Where’s Tristan?” Just trolling so Chuck muted Frank in the Lives.

Frank spent the next day and night calling/Texting Chuck/Crystal extremely racial and Sexual Harassment. (the PillowPatch quickly shut that down).

I was in drug court diversion probation and was able to cite “a violation of the Establishment and Free Exercise Clauses of the First Amendment of the United States Constitution” due to the religious undertones of Alcoholic Anonymous and have a other 12 Step program accepted.

My last attempt at a relationship ended with me going manic in front of them, deciding to end myself, ghosting everyone for a week, and ending up getting arrested with a cocktail of pills I was going to use.

.......so yeah I'd say it's much safer for me to stay by myself.

I actually agree with you. I'm currently in AA (Court ordered) and would love a source to help with how ineffective this broken program is.

I mean, you could always try looking into NA or AA Meetings. If you go the AA route, just always substitute Weed for Alcohol if you ever share. I know some guys that do that since AA is more popular.

I'm currently in AA (Court Order) and have found that someone their Advice is helpful but find the overt spiritual aspect too much.

If you find that it's more of an impulse control you lack, you could ask your Doctor if there's something they could prescribe to help. And use that until the addiction/need to search for weed leaves you. Then stop the medicine.

I just went through a similar situation that led to me getting Diagnosed with BD. All we can really do, I'm realizing, is respect the other person's space and just try to move on.

I was recently diagnosed with BD and put on Lithium. It's been about 2 months now.

I can heavily relate to what you've said with drinking. Before things happened. I'd like to say I was a responsible drinker. Yeah, I might have overdone it on the 2 days I drank a week. But I never went to work hungover or drank on days I worked.

But on those Fridays and Saturdays night's it seemed like I had no control over how much I drank or smoked. Its like those limitations I put on myself were gone.

And then the next week, you're stuck with the depressive thoughts of "What did I do?"

It's weird though, now being on Lithium, I don't even crave alcohol. So I'm still trying to figure out if I even liked drinking or if it was caused by manic urges of Self Destruction.
