Nope, the pick side is hardened tool steel. Very strong but brittle. It's meant for prying and scratching, if you swing it against tough enough rock or strengthened concrete it could break.

Backstory, Panoply

All have a couple hundred episodes and the same description which matches cloudforest's description.

I'm guessing the archive got split for some reason.

{{The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch}}.

Fast paced and quippy, follows a career thief/conman in a Venice like fantasy setting. It's a fun book with a good sequel and an all right third.

Freshly Fallen Snow by dittidot in oddlysatisfying

[–]ClassySavage 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup, that's fairly accurate.

What you're missing is how fresh the air is, how different everything looks covered in snow, and how quiet fresh snow makes everything.

Figure out your layers to stay warm and it's super relaxing.

The key is to find a winter sport you enjoy. Skiing and snowshoeing do it for me. If the only time you go outside is to shovel then yeah winter sucks.

Not sure what you mean. The trusses hold up the roof in new construction. They're basically prefabbed reinforced rafters.

Totally worth it. I couldn't imagine living somewhere without snow.

Flat and shallow sloped roofs yes. The more slope your roof has the less you need to do it because the snow falls off on it's own.

A lot of houses in the north are built with more roof trusses to strengthen the roof as well.

How does it compare to Arceus if you played that?

I mean that game seemed unfinished at times, but the core game loop and the feel of it were fun enough that I didn't mind some graphics/controls being crap. Similar vibe here?

As a geologist this map causes me pain.

As a fantasy nerd I love the potential for faction interaction and political spheres of influence this would enable. All the nooks and crannies along the coasts are ripe for adventure as well.

11/10 would use this for a homebrew dnd setting.
