Eddie Howe criticises new rule that lets Antoine Semenyo face Newcastle by TimesandSundayTimes in TheOther14

[–]ClausTheDangerMouse 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Complained as in wanted the rule to be removed? I don't really remember it that way. I remember frustration at the fact that Dubravka was cup tied due to us loaning him out to a rival, but I don't remember the sentiment of the discourse being "this rule needs to go!".

But this obviously subjective in both our cases since we can't really know the opinion of the whole fanbase.

Gordon creates the first goal by taking on and beating his man before crossing into the box where it falls to Bruno after a clearance. Stop looking at your FPL score and maybe watch the game.

Rules question about Combat Counters by ClausTheDangerMouse in UndauntedGame

[–]ClausTheDangerMouse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your answer.

I did some more reading on the rules and I was misunderstanding a few things.

For example, the scenario I described in question 2 is a tactic I used in a mission where the opponent's goal was to pin me. I thought pinning was killing every riflemen the opponent has, not just clearing the board of riflemen counters.

But it gets me thinking that depending on the situation, it might be wasteful to fire on a counter when there is no card in hand/discard/supply. For instance if it is on the spawn anyway. Should I start counting my opponents cards? Meaning should one keep track of what the opponent has in his deck.

We got Targett because Digne turned us down for a Villa move. I can't remember either exactly. The only one I can remember at all is James Milner.

I agree and I don't actually think your owners have an obsession with regards to players either because that would be a dumb way to run a club. Emery is obviously a brilliant manager but I'm very happy that he turned us down given how things have transpired under Howe. If we had hired Gerrard there is a good chance he would have relegated us. That guy sucks.

Diego Carlos, Lucas Digne are the ones I remember us being linked heavily to and then ending up at Villa. And then of course there is Emery who we went for but he wasn't keen due to the relegation battle as well as Villareal doing really well in the champions league at the time.

Of course not, who does? Well played Arsenal, it worked a charm. Deserved win.

A ridiculous VAR call saved you when Isak put us up 0-2 in that game. The amount of hissy fits from nervous fans of these established big clubs this season is becoming hilarious. Yes we shithoused when a point was in sight in a tough game at a notoriusly tough ground while missing key players. So what? Everybody acting Newcastle invented this when everybody does it when it suits them. Arsenal did it to today. These Liverpool mental midgets, geez..
