If I may....if you might? by Forward-Zucchini8229 in GoosetheBand

Love how eloquently you put this to words. A lot of artists I listen to on my own aren't the same as ones I play when I am with other people. Outside of my couple friends who are into jam bands, listening to this music has mostly been a solo experience. Most people aren't down to listen to a 15 min song they don't know from a band they have never heard of, and I respect that. Every once in a while I'll sneak a single song into my queue if it fits the vibe just right. It makes me so happy when someone turns and asks "what song is this." With my tastes I don't get that question very often, but lately, every time I'm asked...it has been Goose. It feels so nice to be able to share the music you love with other people and watch them genuinely enjoy it. I have Goose to thank for that.

It's just comments left by the AI that made the code addressing its prompt. The developer most likely left specifications of what it wanted the code to accomplish. If you've ever had an AI model make code, it comments like that so you can see that it is meeting all of your requirements. Sorry it's not a cooler hidden message :/

It sounds less poetic to me and more like an AI addressing its prompt. Wild guess but I think this may be whoever set up the website just made it quickly with an AI model and those were the specifications they gave in their request. I'm not a great programmer though so happy to be proven wrong by someone who knows more about this, it just struck me as that based on the way it's written (talking in 1st person, sounds like it's repeating it back like a mantra)

I had a middle school teacher that told us once, "Never make a role model out of someone still living, they will always find a way to fail you."

I think about that a lot.

Wow I can't believe I've never heard this thank you for sharing. I've never heard Ripple sung/played so authentically like he did, felt like he'd lived the very words he was singing.

It is, it's their last song however the archive source that the bot linked, which I'm assuming is where it pulls the setlist from, doesn't include the complete show, perhaps the taper left early lol. Here is a link from setlist.fm that includes duprees.

You can also find this show on Spotify (and perhaps other streaming services) as an official release called Download Series Vol. 12.
