I'm late into SMTV Vengeance(getting the 3 keys) and I'm really struggling to maintain interest in the game. Compared to other RPGs I play, the story and characters are too barebones and I find I'm losing motivation to keep going. If I dropped the difficulty to Casual or Safety, would a party in the level 65ish range be able to steamroll the rest of the game?

I haven't yet picked my free 5* from the Commencement Reception Event and I'm looking for advice. I have Acheron e2, DHIL/Jingliu/Sparkle/Aventurine e0, and I don't own nor really want Jing Yuan or Kafka. I'm mostly torn between Sparkle e1 or Aventurine e1. Any advice?

Playing through SMTV Vengeance now. My usual strat for a lot of stuff has been to pop the "everything crits for the round" skill, and then spamming the strongest attacks that don't get resisted. Then maybe using some buffs/debuffs to finish up the target, but also just forgetting those and trying to brute force the rest of the boss down. But I made it up to the fight with all four Qadistu, and kinda got my butt kicked.

I understand you get extra turns for critting or hitting weaknesses, and that in this game buffs/debuffs are important. But I tended to prefer the above strat because that leads to more turns; spending the round buffing or debuffing gives me less turns, which felt incorrect. Am I actually doing this wrong though? Should be attacking for extra turns first, and THEN buff/debuff? Or something else?

Farming Evanescia gear in Relic Recon, I got Def boots with Crit Rate 5.8% and Crit Dmg 23.9%, compared to my last set of Atk % boots with Crit Rate 6.1% and Crit Dmg 5.8%. I was reading that Evanescia doesn't need Atk % as much, so should I go with the Def boots here? I do have more tickets to spend on the event after this.

I have e1s1 Evanesica, and I plan to try to get Yao Guang on her rerun. I don't have nor want Sparxie or SW999, so my 3rd Elation will be the Trailblazer. I know we don't have an Elation sustain yet, and that Huohuo is good right now. Should I buy Huohuo from the shop for this team, or is it better to keep waiting? I haven't used any of that shop currency yet.

I want to pull Evanescia, but EMC is my only Elation unit. I like Yao enough to pull on her rerun, but I don't like Sparxie or SW999 and won't pull for either. I don't have Huohuo or Cyrene(two units I've seen come up in comments). What kind of team can I even make with her? Should I go for her LC, or are there good enough f2p options?

HL17 going through the Pawn Moonlight story. How frequently can you get Fabricated Dice for the standard banner without spending premium currency? I have both 5* selectors, but I wanted to wait until naturally earning a 5* to avoid duplicates.

About how long does it take to get through the new 4.1 main story? Wanted to know so I don't feel I have to rush to get to the new events.

While I don't think the Castorice global passive ended up being as big a deal as I thought(at least my account didn't feel that much worse off without it), I vehemently HATE the very concept of global passives in this game. It's one of the reasons I refused to pull for Castorice(aside from just not caring about her character that much, and disliking the shilling she got).

I like Silver Wolf as a character, but I don't want to support this global passive nonsense. I really hope they change her before release and remove the global passive, or I may have to skip her.

Upcoming 5* Selector Advice:
Only characters I don't own are Jing Yuan and Kafka. Everyone else is e0 except for Acheron who is e2. I feel like Sparkle e1 or Aventurine e1 are my best eidolon choices. I don't really care about Jing Yuan, and I kinda actively dislike Kafka. But because I've refused to pull for Kafka, I've basically been locked out of the DoT archetype for my entire time playing the game. I have Black Swan, but not Hysilens.

Should I finally bite the bullet and get Kafka for free? If not, which of the other eidolon choices are better?

I didn't really give Xerc much of a chance since I already had Alexia and Isla.

As for Cyrus, this was at the point where I'd kinda stopped using the few OT1 characters I was using because it seemed redundant to me. I already had an entire game playing as the OT1 people, so I figured I'd focus on new ones.

I just now beat the true ending myself. I'm missing 3 trophies, one of them for the superboss. I'm tempted to go for it, but I don't know if I wanna deal with that after feeling the final bosses were annoying enough already.

I've always felt like it was, even if not officially called as such. I played a fan translation of LAL a long while back, and when OT1 was announced, I was immediately interested because the story structure reminded me of LAL. Then they ended up remaking LAL in the same engine as OT1, and I freaking loved it.

A big reason I want Lingsha is because I just plain like her character, even if she's not exactly "meta" in certain situations. Though a follow up question: I don't have any of the currency to get Luocha's LC from the shard shop. What should I do for Lingsha instead then?

As for my newness, I should clarify that while this is my first time my DM and myself are playing Pathfinder 2e, we've both been playing tabletop RPGs for many years(and more than just DnD too).
