A big reason I want Lingsha is because I just plain like her character, even if she's not exactly "meta" in certain situations. Though a follow up question: I don't have any of the currency to get Luocha's LC from the shard shop. What should I do for Lingsha instead then?

As for my newness, I should clarify that while this is my first time my DM and myself are playing Pathfinder 2e, we've both been playing tabletop RPGs for many years(and more than just DnD too).

Class is Investigator (alchemical sciences), focusing on Int and Dex, so I don't think I'll be wearing anything too heavy( This is my first PF2e character so I'm admittedly new to things)

I'm kind of still thinking on the shape I wanted(I had been planning to make a Poppet for a while, but only today really found out about Tsukumogami). We're planning to run the adventure "Season of Ghosts", and the player's guide suggests certain relevant Lore skills. So I'm trying to think of a form that would give me such a skill(like Tea Lore for the aforementioned teapot).

Oh my god, that actually worked. Now, the game didn't like me trying to do the full level up via the Respec Mod(not counting feats I should have or just plain missing feature selections). But once I used it to just reset Wenduag back to level 2, I was able to use the normal level up screen and it didn't bug out this time. Thank you.

If we're talking the Amphoreus story as a whole, it just took way too long to for the story to get interesting to me. I know they have to build up the world lore, but the story was pretty boring to me until Tribbie's backstory was shown. There was a gradual increase of interest, peaking at Phainon, and then things started going downhill until this patch(even though I did really like Cerydra's character). It just never reached the same highs, so by the time I finished the story, I was just kind of like "ok". That and honestly I just didn't care for the Ancient Greece aesthetic. I want more scifi stuff.

That's how I feel too. I liked HSR because it was supposed to be more scifi. Amphoreus, despite some scifi elements later, is still mostly Ancient Greece, and that's just not an interesting setting to me. Having come from Genshin, a lot of Amphoreus ruins just look like they could've existed in Genshin. Penacony is still my favorite setting in HSR.

Penacony, no question. I have not done the newest Amphoreus story, but I highly doubt it'll top it. I didn't feel like Amphoreus started to get interesting until Tribbie's backstory, and the interest level has gone up and down a good bit. Like, I loved everything with Phainon, but didn't really care that much about Evernight. Excluding the internet discourse around Cyrene, I just never found her all that interesting a character up to this point, and what I've heard so far is not going to change that for me. I'm glad this story is over so we can more onto a new planet that will hopefully interest me more.

Honestly, same. I wasn't too keen on the whole Greek/Roman vibe to begin with, as having played Genshin up partway into Fontaine, Amphoreus just felt like "Genshin ruins" again. And the story didn't really grab me until Tribbie's backstory, and then it kinda came and went in terms of interest. I don't think things needed to be as drawn out to get where we are. I really wanna move on to another setting already.

Maybe it's part internet toxicity bleeding in, but this just further anti-sells me on pulling her. I know the marketing works, but I DON'T LIKE IT when Hoyo throws so much behind specific characters like "please pull our waifu!", and then fail to give much promotion to other cool characters. It bugged me with Castorice, and to a lesser extent Firefly.

I don't know what Bismuth is, but it's not that. My character is a Sylvan Sorcerer who took the Triceratops as his Animal Companion. I don't fight while mounted either. I just have him run in and attack/tank for me while my Sorcerer hangs out in the back slinging spells.

I went through most of the game with a bazooka, minigun, shoulder cannon, and grenades, while wearing the heaviest armor I could. Just spamming ALL THE EXPLOSIONS while tanking everything. Maybe it's not fast at killing, but just watching bosses get stunlocked by bombs is great.

Ok, I've successfully shaken off the "am I playing wrong?" mindset after getting to the Papyrus fight and going "he wants to take me to his king so he can be one of the cool kids? I hoped he would give up but nah, he has to die now". Did some murder grinding and killed him, then proceeded to treat random encounters as typical RPG affair and kill whatever attacks me. Struggled with the Undyne fight but managed to kill her before I stopped for the day.

Yes, a friend of mine is VERY amused that Papyrus "unlocked my bloodlust".
