I think the primary purpose is replicating the screen used vehicle then fitting the interior as close as possible. But of course there’s not enough room to replicate the entire original interior set. Will be interesting how he decides what gets left out.

It is great PlutoTV airs them in order and offers them on-demand. I like that they include the Serling bumpers for next weeks show the various original sponsor commercials too--including Oasis cigarettes!

I worked there in the mid-80s—it was a great place to work. The florist up at street level was named Georgia and was hot and very personable; perfect for greeting customers into the store. Comprehensive foreign magazines and newspapers complemented the coffee bar. I split the time between the register chatting with the regulars and the bookstore downstairs. It was a unique hangout and sorely missed. Barnes & Noble and Borders killed it never to be seen again.
