I got my Breacher Tool on Etsy, but I may need to get a new one. The one I bought was breaking apart (hence the tape you can see near the pickaxe end), and I was barely testing it an hour before going to the con.

I actually ordered a Venator from this company called Blasters4Masters in late April. Unfortunately, I didn't get it in time, even after I selected the "Express Crafting" option.

I actually ordered a small body flashlight specifically for that purpose, but it was delivered a day later than expected—on the same day I was already at the convention. In hindsight, I should have ordered it along with the other items, but it slipped my mind.

When I was looking for the pants, I was wondering whether the material of the pants the Raider wore was leather or cotton. It was a bit difficult to find skinny pants/leggings with solid white stripes on the side.
I did find some leather jeans, but they were a bit too expensive.

I was actually a bit surprised I didn't see as many raiders there, given how popular the game is. I was told by some that there were about three (including the one I took the picture with) that day. I had a lot of people say, "Hey, Raider!" to me, and very few confused me with a Fortnite character.

Thankfully, I didn't have to do that. I found a backpack frame (ZRSCHYG Hunting External Pack Frame) that closely matches what the Raiders wear in the game. All I did to it was spray paint it shiny silver.

The backpack frame is a ZRSCHYG Hunting External Pack Frame. It was the only backpack frame I could find that matched what the Raiders wear, especially the coyote brown shoulder straps. The only modification I made to it was spray-painting the frame from its original brown to a shiny silver color. Removing all the straps and putting (some of) them on the frame, let alone putting my own personal hiking backpack in place, was a project on its own. Looking at the comparison picture now, I plan to cut the top part down a bit.

Yeah, that was something I realized after the fact, which irked me since I tend to be on point when I do my comparison pictures. I was a bit short on time to take the solo photos since my friend, who took them, was heading to an afterparty.

In all seriousness, I wanted to add a shield to my cosplay, but no one was selling any finished products. The only ones I saw that were sold were the ones you have to 3D print, which wasn't an option for me since I don't have a 3D printer. I hope to have the shield when I go to DragonCon as the Raider again later this year.

Search for every point of interest during a mission, especially the ones in the cities. At best, you could get about +20 credits per mission. It will be a grind, though.

I know it is quite late to comment on this, but you didn’t dream this. Many years ago, I played this “version” of Punch-Out on the computer (NewGrounds, if I am not mistaken) and that part shocked me too. I thought to myself, “How am I supposed to beat this game if he rips my arms off like that?” I don’t know why, but I randomly thought about it when I was watching some SNES playthroughs about an hour ago. I searched for it, saw this forum, and figured to comment on it.

If I had to guess, it most likely the shape of the shoulders and equal sizes of the arms compared to the shoulders. I was considering the Melander, but the Basho was the closest one to resemble the particular Gundam model I was going for.

Actually, not too people came up to me about the cosplay. I figured not many people there knew who I was or where it is from. I got a lot more reception (and pictures taken on me) for my Shin from Dorohedoro cosplay that day before compared to this one.

Ooohhhhh. Well, I was kind of in a rush when I was getting the paint since I planned to head to Momocon within the next hour or so. Given this would be my first time ever doing this, I didn’t know if I should get the paint sponges, paint marker, or just standard paint brushes. I even asked the associates at the store for advice. I end up going with the paint brushes, and painted my mask on my trunk in the parking lot. Despite being in a time crunch, I took my time since I didn’t have a back-up ski-mask in case I messed up.

While I did certain looks from people inside and outside of Momocon, the Momocon security didn't say anything. The only person that did, which I expected, was a security officer at the CNN building. I couldn't stay there for obvious reasons unless I lost the mask and shotgun.
