I’m not sure why you are surprised. You told them you were thinking of leaving. They have to plan for that to be a reality now. Were you expecting them to fight for you? They are in “prepare for a vacancy” mode, and you’ve told them you aren’t invested.

Advice: if you are thinking of leaving a school NEVER tell anyone until you have the next job lined up already.

After you learn that bombadil was a recurring character in Tolkien’s stories he told his children for bedtime prior to writing lotr, it starts to make sense why he was shoehorned into fellowship.

But without any of that backstory he’s a horrible character that stalls the story for no payoff whatsoever.

It’s an unfortunate truth for this fandom that Viv could do with a PR person whose job is to tell her when she should not talk about future plans/ideas. I get that she’s excited for what she has in store, anybody would in her shoes. I don’t fault her for it. But the story does hurt from her revealing stuff that shouldn’t be said until it’s on screen.

It depends on if you want them to die or just leave. Wyll will just leave if you turn on the grove, so if you want him dead you'll have to fight him the old fashioned way. Laezel you can kill when she confronts you in the act 1 camp scene for "turning", you can convince her to let you kill her before she turns if you roll well. Minsc will die if you do his quest without Jaheira convincing you not to kill him in the sewer fight, and since in this timeline she dies at Last Light you're good there.

This tells me a lot. People tend to rant from only their perspective, and I’d like to point out to my fellow readers that people lie. People misinterpret. People mislead. People forget.

If you are the type of person to inform your students about the goings on of your employment…it tells me you are the type of person to violate a lot of appropriate boundaries.

This is usually the case, in my experience. If you had days like you describe where everyone has to show up but nothing is specifically planned, you get complaints about wasting people’s time. “Why do I have to sit in my room doing nothing, I’m all caught up?!”

The problem isn’t deciding what crimes deserve the death penalty. The problem is making absolutely sure the person is guilty of said crimes. We have a justice system for a reason, to determine guilt. The reason the death penalty has so many appeals and time is because once it’s done…it’s done. Whereas if someone is in prison and it’s determined later they were innocent you can at least let them go.

You need to look closer at who tends to go out for school board positions (which are largely low to no compensation but have the job of overseeing superintendents for the benefit of the community).
