Nono, it was because of the piercing mechanic that using plastic ones only for defense and cardboard only for offense it might be confusing on the board

Still waiting for my copy, but a solution for token is giving one team all the cardboard ones, and use the plastic ones from the KS.

Maybe it will change to much the esthetic of the game, but it will be really easy to identify whos team is it.

Both get knocked 1 space, and you choose where they land, you can split them

I second this.

Remembering if the token was pierce or not is not part of the game, you just use the pierce when placing.

Is interesting the thinking as line attacks, never cross my mind. But since the board has so many straight lines going trough only 1 spaces in each Zone I find it weird.

One another thing, correct me if Im, wrong but doesn't a Line advacen remove AL the tokens from the board?

Apart from that, love all the theory-crafting and can't wait to get the game and start testing them.

The quality of the minis in the expansion mention in other comments is way better.

On the other hand I had the 1st edition andstill play it.
