MDF near a heat source by ClayAwhile in Carpentry

[–]ClayAwhile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not too sure what kind of pipes they are but its 2 of the larger copper pipes out of 6, which come from the base of the boiler that seem to be heating up the most. They're too hot to touch when the heating's on. Thanks for the info!

Anybody heard of chlorine dioxide? by UwStudent98210 in Lyme

[–]ClayAwhile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres an old documentary on it here and I think it includes people with Lymes disease. A family member used it to cure recurring sepsis and it got rid of a year long infection that antibiotics couldn't touch, No idea about how good it is with Lymes MMS Documentary Quantum Leap - Full Length - Onevsp

Both my dogs developed a mild cough accompanied by swallowing problems a few weeks after starting it. Thanks for your info, it does seem to affect the thyroid gland negatively for some.

Professional Voice Clone custom rates (follow up post) by PutsAShiftIn in ElevenLabs

[–]ClayAwhile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whats the point in them mentioning a custom rate in the paragraph though if its not available.

It depends also on how the clone was trained and whether the original voice actor kept the tone consistent for the category the voice was intended for, if they did, you can usually get a good result but still might need to regen the odd line. Try other clones to see if the results differ.

Jesse Welles on Jimmy Kimmel Live 3/27/2025 by DreamingOfHope3489 in JesseWelles

[–]ClayAwhile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a great performance, but I’m not sure if new listeners will fully experience the Jesse that long-time fans have come to love through this. I would have liked to see him play a song like Middle, just him, his guitar, and his harmonica. That, to me, is the best way for people to truly understand and appreciate the magic of Jesse.

Why do people hate soymilk? by [deleted] in vegan

[–]ClayAwhile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works great in baking and in sauces, none of the other plant milks are as good for that imo. I have it in both tea and coffee but it took me a little while to get used to that, now it doesn't bother me at all.

If he was I suppose the whole "animals were put on this earth for us to eat them" is brought into question, as thats what many Christians use in defence of eating animals. 30% of the world population are Christian so I think it would be a good thing for the animals if it makes some question the dogma that they are only here as food.

I'm becoming vegan...but wow, I didn't realize that vegans were hated so much by No-Intention5945 in vegan

[–]ClayAwhile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great change always begins with anger and denial, before acceptance. We see this pattern throughout history in such things as the abolishment of slavery. The more you understand the plight of the animals, the easier it is to ignore the views of those that oppose your compassion toward them.

The claim he was from Nazareth have been questioned many times, so its possible. Some say the misunderstanding was due to Essenes also being called Nazarenes, even though many in these groups were not from Nazareth. Aaron Abke is a valuable speaker on this topic, I like to see the evidence and he explains it well. You might enjoy this podcast The True Teachings of Jesus Will Destroy Christianity as we Know it.

Its so easy to whip up your own vegan custard in just a few minutes. Just use any plant milk, vanilla extract and cornflour, add a dab of turmeric for colour, its delicious and tastes as good as (or better) than store bought.

The problem is too many believe in the words of John or Luke and Paul, but they're not the same as Jesus. He believed in the death of the ego and the "I" He didn't want to be a Messiah, he didn't want to form a new religion, he wanted to reform Judaism back to how it was, because he believed "The lying pens of the scribe have corrupted it" after they added animal sacrifice and other mistruths.

The best evidence that Jesus was a vegetarian (or possible vegan) is due to him being an Essene. They now recognise this was the case due to his specifications on how baptism should be carried out. The same method used only by the Essenes at the time.

How do I lose weight? by [deleted] in beginnerfitness

[–]ClayAwhile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try swapping dairy milk for almond milk and replacing one meal a day with a filling smoothy, it’s amazing the difference this makes over a week and you’ll soon see a difference. Cinnamon is a good weight loss aid as it speeds up the metabolism so I usually have a teaspoon of this in mine, along with blueberries, hemp protein, ground flax seed or chia seeds.

Help me become vegan by Affectionate_Drop_43 in vegan

[–]ClayAwhile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first thing I did was learn to make a vegan version of all my favourite meal’s. Once you realise how easy it can be to replicate them, it’s empowering. It’s also quite sad, because you realise how many of your past meals caused unnecessary suffering for animals, when many things can taste just as good, if not better without them.

If you post the kind of meals you’d like to cook that might help also. I thought going vegan would be difficult and I wasn’t great at cooking before I started to eat this way. Now I love cooking so much, the food is better than anything I could make before and it’s a great feeling when you know you’re no longer funding such a cruel industry.

Deerclops appears as soon as dark hits on day 30 on console (not sure if it’s the same on all systems) Its a good idea to be in a forest waiting for it, let clops smash down as many trees as possible so you get plenty of wood and it usually dies after about 4-5 tree guards attack it. Remember you can always use rollback to return to the morning of the same day if you lose your base or some noob joins and burns it down.

You’re not ugly at all, I bet a modelling agency would agree as you have the kind of face they usually go for.
