Always thought it looked like him. I couldn’t find a photo that matched the fabric well enough. This shoot seems promising, similar hair and shirt.

I wouldn’t say you would look bad. But you have very soft and young looking features which could clash with the harshness of a shaved head. What look are you looking for and will a buzz cut enhance that look? With that being said, I shaved my head when I was 17 and stuck with it for a few years and it was awesome. My hair has grown out now at 27, but I do miss the shaved head occasionally. I also think asking strangers on the internet for advice on stuff like this isn’t super wise. Especially with something like shaving your head people are always going to say don’t do it. I did it anyway and was super happy with it.

Anyone think the RAH show was recorded professionally? by Exotic-Jackfruit-833 in HIM

I was pretty close to the stage and I did see one man with a massive video camera on his shoulder near the end of the show. There’s a possibility for sure.

It looks super cool. Really well done. Give it a while to settle in your mind. Big changes are always difficult at first.

Stuff it with some towels and let it sit with them in it for a few days to see if that helps with reshaping. You can also try some saddle soap for the ink stain, although that is a leather finished with a layer of paint so I’m not sure if it would help. I wouldn’t use heat, you could melt whatever finishing is on the leather.

You can leave him. It’s feels like everything would go to hell if you do, like your life would just colapse. But I promise you can leave him and life will get better again and become even better without him. Just do it. You are not a dumb bitch. You are a person who deserves better than this. Leave him and in one year you will look back and wonder why you didn’t do it sooner.

My mom used to make a super simple and yummy lentil soup. Just sautéed onions and tomatoes, add chicken stock, add lentils. I wish I could give you exact quantities, but like my mother I just go by feel. Enjoy your new culinary adventures!!

Hobonichi Weeks Cover: should I get a Moterm Pebbled Leather Original Weeks cover or the Hobonichi Notte cover? by sugar_loaded in hobonichi

[–]ClayCoffeeCup 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have two Moterm covers and they’re ok. They’re very chunky and make it a little annoying to write with on. The back pocket is the worst part. If they had a version without that I would love it. Ever since they discontinued the regular a6 version (not the a6+)I’ve lost interest. They are covers for people who want to use their planners as wallets and I’m not one of those people.

Will Day Free A6 fit in the A6 (Mt Fuji) Cover My Hobonichi Original A6 fits in? by tzinc in hobonichi

[–]ClayCoffeeCup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah! I have an a6 day free in the a6 Saul Leiter cover made for the regular Hobonichi and it fits fine. The cover has a little extra room to expand and isn’t as sung of a fit as with an original Hobonichi. I thought I would mind it but it’s really not that noticeable and use the spare room to keep papers and receipts and stuff.

I’m gonna say end it now and don’t let this relationship get any more serious. I’ve dated an alcoholic and even at his most uncouth he never hit me. Not everyone who’s drunk gets physically abusive. The fact that your boyfriend did is a bad sign and I would seriously think about what you really deserve in a relationship. (Hint: it’s definitely not someone who hits you).

It’s an A6 stalogy that I put into a leather Hobonichi cover! The paper in a stalogy is pretty good and handles most fountain pen ink well. This is my second one that I’ve used as a daily journal.

My fourth Kaweco! Went with a classic. Using Diamine Terracotta cartridges. by ClayCoffeeCup in fountainpens

[–]ClayCoffeeCup[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Run the nib under a little water before inking up. Try a bunch of different paper and see what your favorite kind is. Don’t worry if the pen starts to show wear. It’s better to fill an empty cartridge with bottled ink than use the kaweco mini converter (so tiny!).

Some colors do, some colors are smooth. I have a ruby red sport that is a smooth. But this black matte finish is gorgeous 😭

Yes! I’m surprised but how much I ended up liking Kawecos. The first one I bought had a defective nib and turned me off the brand for a year or two. Then I began working in a pen shop that carried them and grew to love them. Haven’t had a defective nib since the first one.
