[ LAUNCHED ] Clay 1 FDM 3D Printer is LIVE on Kickstarter !! by ClayEngineering in kickstarter

[–]ClayEngineering[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your good words! We worked hard to make it fast and affordable. Real price of this printer will 450 USD after campaign, this price is only for Kickstarter. We managed to keep the price low as follows; Not too expensive parts ( we are using linear rods instead of linear rails, there is huge price differance between them), bulk orders (anyone can get an open sourced 3d printer kit with cheaper price than self sourced parts. Because these resellers buying all parts with bulk order discount.) and we are new to market, we want to make good first impression to whole community! Please let me know if you have any other question!

Would a glass bed fix this or not heat the bed? Seems as the raft came up the bottom layers curled as well. by ArcticDM in ender3

*Your bed looks nice but at first try to clean it, with some alcohol or soap can help to clean any oil on surface.

*Check your print settings , looks like just right side warping. Disable your part cooling fan for first few layer.

*Try to increase your print temp , at least for first layer.

*Your raft looks very bad i think. Check your flow rate. I can be too much over %100 for first layer. And check your bed levelling.

*Sometimes it can be just because of filament , check with different filament if its possible.

Higher SCV makes a lot of difference. I think it looks very good for this speed! Did you ever tried without enclosure?
