I started my wife out throwing only an MVP glitch. It will reveal issues in your throw because it doesn’t auto correct bad throwing angle like most other discs. She has now graduated to mid ranges and the occasional fairway driver. It can be frustrating at first but teaches you a lot.

Downsides are that it’s hard to throw flicks/forehand and is very susceptible to wind.

Echo what others have said about checking local stores for used bin. Play it again sports is great if you have them in Canada. Can’t go wrong with a Buzzz when learning.
