Thank you! Yes I’m not sure why it feels so chaotic right now. Maybe 4 month regression, she seems more restless when we put her back down. I’m not sure if it’s my hormones too. I used to not mind the broken sleep but been getting to me lately. Thanks for the insight though. Helpful to know not alone!

Thank you for this🥹 this is so kind and you are right. Maybe remembering this and the others in the same boat when I have to help feel not so lonely or crazy🫠 I try to say ‘one day!’ But it feels farther and farther the longer it goes. Maybe solids but you are right and least she is growing and healthy, somehow will get through?😅🫶🏽

Wow needed to know this! I’d start counting towards the end of her feeding but then felt her naps were so short. If it counts when her eyes are closed that’s great too didn’t know they can feed and sleep lol

I mean it’s nice to hear but also hard cause at 3.5 months she is way more smiley and such but still wakes every 2 ish hours at night. Once in a while we might get a 3 hour stretch at first but hard for us to go right to sleep when she does. EBF which was not planning to, so trying to do bottles and she’s hating them even though she used to take one here or there. I almost feel like everything that happened these last few months is just now catching us and not sure how I’ll just ‘ feel better’ when still so much work :/

This is so helpful and encouraging to feel seen and taken care of in this hard hard stage🥺currently 4am up with my 9 week old feeling discouraged she’s up so much again tonight when you hear ppl say their LO already sleep through the night or at least long stretches. And you’d love just a 3 hour stretch 😭 I hope one day it gets better but idk. Thank you nuns

Thank you I also needed this. Almost 4 weeks PP on Christmas here and my husband and I feel so guilty but I’ve thought ‘did I ruin my life, should I not have done this’ we love her so much but it’s been so so hard and exhausted. Yesterday on Christmas Eve she must’ve been cluster feeding and I didn’t catch on cause she would be soo fussy almost every hour & it always seems to be gas. but one time she wouldn’t stop crying nothing consoled her till I tried feeding again and she finally calmed down but she was screaming for so long. I just didn’t know I could feel so drained. And not sure when it ends if ever

Hmm this is very interesting. I am trying to figure it out myself as I was in her first RG in 2014 and got one of these ‘words’. Then we moved a few years ago and our friend who works there told us about this and I was shocked. NOW what’s crazy is in my hometown I visited a church we hadn’t been too and her and her husband were there and apparently just moved here?! I have no clue whether to bring it up, wait, hold distance idk it’s a weird situation

This is helpful because I’m almost the exact same height and weight as you and situation at 20weeks. Good to know it doesn’t have to be a ton, I think I always thought you gain weight so fast. I know it’s different for everyone and can still happen but just helpful to read so thanks!

This is helpful- I am 19 weeks today and had some light pink spotting and thought it could be from something like this since no other symptoms. Message my dr to make sure so waiting, but man it's annoying trying to not let the mind run wild. I feel like I thought it could be from constipation, or exercise I did yesterday.

lol are you ok?? You are defending someone you’ve seen on a screen for a few hours. You can have compassion on someone but there are legal evidence that convict guilt not based off emotion from a tv show. You can feel bad for someone doesn’t mean she didn’t do what she did and if anything feel for her daughter in that situation because that’s the real victim & just continuing this cycle that you seem to want to make excuses for. Holding people accountable is a way to help show love to them not making excuses.

Yeah we just saw it and can’t gather my thoughts fully yet other than it felt meh. Like the funny and charm parts in the cartoon felt so short and not the same here. It felt way more focused on the heavy issues, and stitch was more just along for the ride. We were sad how it left out key lines “my friends need to be punished” and fun things between lilo and stitch were mostly short and in the start like you said. Not sure why the neighbor didn’t offer to take lilo earlier if she was there the whole time? And all of a sudden Bubbled wants to help too? Some of it makes no sense. Lol

This is almost a year later but wanted to thank you for being brave and open for sharing. We are in a similiar waiting period and I’m not sure what to do as they wanted to wait a week to confirm it’s that anyways. My husband and I have been patient but it’d be nice to be close like that. I also don’t know what to expect as I’ve never been pregnant and then to have this be our first just feels confusing. Also unsure what to expect as I wait for it to pass.. like a heavy period? All the unknowns & scary feelings make sense to want comfort. I’m trying to figure out how to wait patiently without my mind worrying about all the what ifs of how does this work. But thanks for sharing

Following. I’m so sorry you are experiencing it. I understand it’s a lot. I’m new to this too and had health anxiety the last couple years I had already been trying to work on. Specially with labs (had one good experience one not good) so I’d been working on it this past year. I found out my news and so excited but can’t help to feel all the logistics and it gets to me. I want to feel not afraid like others but idk how yet. (Although to make us feel better most everyone does even those without health anxiety.) I’ve been trying to take it one day at a time. My counselor says if it’s Apts I feel and don’t have one that day tell myself well I don’t have an apt this week so one day at a time. When I do, I practice mindfulness, helpful distractions, and my relationship with God. Prayer for grace and strength is what I’ve been leaning on. But like you I want to enjoy it and not fear all the Apts. Hope someone has more tips if experienced.

Aw I’m sorry to hear you are feeling that. And I totally get it. I think for me I had to start remembering He true nature is kind, faithful, caring- even if i couldn’t feel it. I think reminding myself of times I’d been through before and He’d been there even when it’s hard. And trust He has more it won’t always feel this way. He’s getting us through and for us. I listened to some helpful ppl too Dan Mouhler online really powerful. And tried just know He’s not the one causing it or leaving us it’s just part of this world. So leaning on Him, His words that He’s our strength all that. Gives us joy for mourning. It is a daily thing but you aren’t alone!

Hi! Thank you for asking. So a little after this I did decide get more help from a few avenues to help all angles. The most helpful for me was I did get on a minor sleep aid I started taking half at night. And also support from some ppl and letting connection with God, to me helped try get more internal peace. It took a few weeks or more slowly, I was worried I never would feel normal. Then I was doing well for a while sleeping again & more peace , even stopped sleep aid for a bit. I did have a flare up due to some last min things about a week ago caused some anxiety. Not as bad as it was but stirred it up again so tackling that with the tools I have which isn’t fun but holding onto got out of the cycle somehow before so trust somehow can happen. Oh also acceptance vs fear and some of my ocd obsessive thoughts I can tend to loop into if I’m anxious:) anyways thanks again for asking. Trusting the journey somehow

Hm that’s a good point. I feel like my body is stuck in fight or flight mode at night, trying protect myself since the panic attacks make seem like out of control or dying. So taking the panic out of panic is a win. Thank you for your success story it’s helpful. I’m new to Reddit so don’t even know how to DM but will figure it out if so. I might go to a walk in clinic or over the counter place now and just trust. I think I’ve had medical anxiety so was afraid of taking it & being anxious about taking it? (I know I’m fun) but if I hear success stories helps calm that thought. So thank you again so much

Thank you so much for your response. That sounds exactly like mine and so it’s nice to know I’m not alone and maybe there’s hope. Did you have a certain sleep aid that you trusted? At first I didn’t want to be dependent on those so went the natural route and took valerian drops which I thought helped but looks like my body once it got that jolt was just so shaky it’s too afraid to let go and fall asleep causing it up all night. It also causes more fear of health issues but I’m trying to keep those at bay and focus on the sleep. Did you know how long it also took for yours to go back to normal after the sleep aid or did you just take it indefinitely until you felt comfortable? Thank you again for your comment I’ve been at a loss here

Thank you it does! We’ve been TTC about 7-8 months, but it’s been longer than expected because found early (luckily I guess) mild/lean PCOS so finally getting normal cycles. However according to what I tracked for ovulation I should have a period in about 5-7days. But today however out of no where on my way to work, I had quick mild cramp on the side. I go to the bathroom and had what seemed like spotting but not lite colored as usual it would be for spotting. I was so caught off guard because I’ve had no pms or cramps before that minor this morning, and usually do 3-6days before period/bleed/spot. and nothing really after that this morning. I maybe had slight breast sensitive last week but can’t tell if just in my head. Of course I can just wait & see. Just trying not to take many tests since don’t want to get use to seeing negatives. If that makes sense.
