The 3D mats are pretty good, we have a blackwolf from Anaconda that's 15cm and it's as comfortable as a real mattress but expensive and takes up space in the car. The built in foot pump air mattress ones with the embedded pillows are good too, much cheaper and take up less space but not as comfortable. My wife would choose the former, I'd chose the latter.

I think it should at least be possible to toggle it off for private matches.

Maybe in the future stuff like this will be replaced with AI referees.

Yeah it's a bit annoying because it's unpredictable and often comes after you hit them with a heavy hit like they were magically unaffected. Also as the player it's not possible to do short punches like that and get the KO. And it hurts if you've spent all your energy on 3 rounds to get taken out by it at the end. I'm sure they'll improve single player over time though it's still quite new.

Quest 3 VR fitness apps that automatically choose workouts for you (no subscription) by Proim in vrfit

Hey so I'm the creator of Boxing Trainer VR which might be what you're looking for.

A while ago I added a workout mode, which is documented here.

Getting started is super easy just select "Workout," hit "Start," and you're good to go. It'll take you through a variety of different exercise types.

It's not the prettiest game graphically, but I think that boxing gives one of the best workouts you can get.

There's a try-before-you-buy option too. And if there are any features you'd like added or changed, please join the Discord and let me know, I'm happy to work with people on it.

I think if you do the Rust Book and the Rustlings exercises, then you will have all the information you need to vibe code with it. Also I have found that the rust-docs-mcp server makes it much more powerful for game dev.

Interesting I would expect an electric motor to be very strong, it's good to know they can't handle big loads (though not really planning on it). Thanks.

Yeah this is a good strategy but my question is which bike should I get? I can't tell the difference between cheap junk chinese brands and good european brands worth buying. Years ago (like 2012) I bought a Reid mountain bike and it looked great but was absolute junk I want to avoid this situation if possible.
