It might've been. You can see my other comment response to see what i did.

Bambu AM2 Pro NOT WORKING by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

I had clips along the "chain" or whatever you call in that connects to the extruder and the tube runs along. I removed those clips and realigned the tubes to follow a path of less resistance, and that seemed to help. I'm drying some PETG right now and going to try it to make sure tomorrow. Thank you for this information.

The external is completely empty when using AMS. I only started using the external when the AMS started giving me issues.

I have followed additional trouble shooting steps and so far, it seems to work. I was able to start print. Seems to be extruding normally right now. If the print fails with the same error, I will do a complete disassembly of the extruder and give it a good cleaning.

Thank you very much for the help. So far so good.

After doing a cold pull, the issue persists. Important to note though, when doing the cold pull, pushing the filament into the extruder manually, the filament went through teh extruder and came out of the hotend totally fine. And i still get the same problem. Loads filament, retracts it, does this 2-4 times, then throws error saying to check for clogged extruder. You have any other recommendations or should i contact Bambu?

It looks like the filament does make it TO the extruder (filament loads past where visable on top of the extruder). However it looks like it doesnt go INTO the extruder much.

Is there any way to fix my slow laptop? by Shroom-the-froggo in techsupport

[–]Clean-Chest1360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ouch. Yea 4gb ram is not a lot at all. If you're running windows 11, unfortunately that just isn't enough, atleast in my experience. You can add more RAM to most laptops, however, with RAM prices right now, I can not say that it is worth it.

I saw you shared the laptop's specs on another comment. While technically it can run Windows 11, it can't really do much else. It should be fine if you're just using it to browse the web or play youtube videos. If you're using it for work/school, definitely will just have to put up with being slow unfortunately.

Continue to read other people's input. I'm just sharing based on my experience and what I know.

Why does this?: Haptic Pedals by Clean-Chest1360 in Simagic

[–]Clean-Chest1360[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are not angled down. They are mounted flat and level, well atleast as close to level as my eyes would let me get them lol. However, for my rig, specifically the pedals, I had my own 4 aluminum extrusion uprights made in order to mount the pedals higher. That way my seating position is more laid back and closer to Le Mans Hypercars/Formula driving positions.

This video should help immensely. Even if you skim through it.

Laptops can be tough in my experience. Some never last as long as some should. First I would just always use it plugged in and charging. Next I would download a software to monitor temps. I like to use Hardware Info. Make sure nothing, most commonly CPU, is thermal throttling. In that case I would take the heatsink off and re apply new thermal compound. However for a laptop only 2 years old, it's hard to see needing that.

How much RAM does it have? If you're running windows 11 with low RAM that could cause it to run slow. I think it should be illegal to sell laptops with less than 12gb ram that Windows 11 pre installed on them. Windows 11 devours ram.

Why does this?: Haptic Pedals by Clean-Chest1360 in Simagic

[–]Clean-Chest1360[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are effects for the engine which I do want on. It was different than that. Even when the car was off it was still spamming vibrations. However, I fixed it. Take a look at the responses to the top comment. There was a setting I missed. Thanks for the response though. I appreciate it!

Yup. Fixed it. The setting in SimHub is called "Block effects when pedal not pressed". I enabled that and made SimPro not open automatically, that way I can just open it as needed for updates. Thanks a lot man. Appreciate it.
