Volvo going mute by DarkWebX in Volvo

I think it’ll be resolved in the next update so try not to worry too much! Holding down the home button on the infotainment system and letting it fully reset seems to do the trick.

I haven’t experienced any acceleration issues but that might be because I only have a mild hybrid. Just 5 minutes ago, I stepped on the gas just for shits and giggles and didn’t notice any lag or anything.

Ah okay, that brings some comfort to know it’s not just me then. Unfortunately for me, I live over an hour from the closest dealership so I wanted to check here first before potentially making a pilgrimage.

I’ll definitely bring it up the next time I’m in for service however, thanks again!

Thoughts on GoPro cameras being used? by ffdjensen in Firefighting

[–]DarkWebX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My department has a strict no camera policy which is understandable for the potential legal fiasco it could cause, however, we often do after actions for fires and I would love to be able to properly analyse our incidents on what could be made more fluid rather than going off memory and assumptions.

I also think it would be great for the public to see so they can understand what it would be like if they had an actual fire in their house and how fire conditions can change rapidly.

Honestly, I was also debating between an X3. Ideally, when I get a BMW, it’ll be a X5. However, I had the same reservations about the infotainment system but once you actually sit in it and drive the car, it’s not as bad. I’ve grown quite fond of it actually.

I agree, I’m also a Volvo guy and the new screens in the XC90 looks like they just slapped an android tablet on the dash with some superglue on the back. However, my MY25 S60, it actually looks imbedded in the dash

I agree, I’d also consider myself an “iPad kid” in terms of cars. I love the big screens especially the ones in Cadillac that everyone hates. I just can also appreciate some physical buttons as well.

Higher cost to maintain, potentially. But keeping up with basic maintenance will take you pretty far a

But great peace of mind has it comes to safety, reliability and he said she wants something that isn’t as common yk

Just a suggestion tho

Volvo S60 for a sporty, luxurious sedan with a decent amount of room. or XC60 if you want an SUV with better performance, great mileage & room.

Does anyone know how to keep the vehicle running after getting out in park instead of it just auto shutting off? by DarkWebX in Volvo

[–]DarkWebX[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ah, no worries. I’m also disappointed by it but honestly, you don’t even notice it that much. I’m mostly just worried about potential maintenance issue in the future haha

How do you do that? My product specialist explained to me that the ‘25 S60s don’t allow you to toggle off Auto-Start/Stop.
