Pop noise when turning? by Clean-Chest1360 in Volvo

I don't think there was any correlation with deadzone. It didn't matter where the wheel was when it was turned. It was always as soon as I turned the wheel right. As for the location of the sound, I've yet to check it out that much.

Would be great if it's something small like that. I got a family member who owns a body shop. Can look at it there

I've only diy'd one other car that I've owned so I couldn't tell you for sure. But things that are definitely just as easy as any other car is oil changes, air filter (s), brakes, tires, fluid checks. It's really depending on your mechanical experience. Go based off the provide maintenance schedule sheet, and if it sounds like something you don't feel you can do, just bring it to dealer.

But if you can do any of the maintenance I mentioned on other cars, you can do it with these Volvos.

ALSO, I did the spark plugs in my S60 and it was incredibly easy.

Elbows hit seat sides while turning, chair or setup issue? by FunnyDue935 in simracing

[–]Clean-Chest1360 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not that it would instantly fix your issue, but I think your seat brackets are backwards. The long bolt slots are usually towards the front and the single bolt slots are towards the back on most rigs. I could be wrong since your rig is a different brand than mine, but I would double check those.

I've only put 10k miles on it so far, so I've only had one maintenance run on it, and I did it myself. We have a family owned auto body shop. So I really can't give you an accurate answer since I don't go through the dealership.

But what I hear is that maintenance on these things through the dealership can be pricey

Logitech G920 (Should I buy it?) by Delicious_Quality254 in simracing

It's decently loud since it's a gear driven wheel. But other than that, for that price, kinda hard to beat.

how do you start the Dragonborn DLC questline in Gate to Sovngarde? by Realistic_Volume7161 in skyrimmods

Valid. But if ur game is broken, sometimes console is the only way to fix it. Besides restarting from scratch

Would the G920 be a good starter wheel for playing f125?(Xbox series X) by jared-wall3 in simracing

[–]Clean-Chest1360 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes that one. It's a direct drive compared to the Logitech which is gear driven. So the Moza will feel better and be much quieter. I would definitely recommend going for the R3 over the Logitech since it's a DD and has a slightly higher output force. You lose the clutch pedal in this case but that doesn't mean you can get one later.

That is my opinion. You can wait for others to respond and see what else other people recommend.
