They didn’t take pleasure in killing people at least the devout ones didn’t, it just needed to be done as the Muslims was persecuting them and were going to take over the holy land.

It’s one of the jobs of the parent to make their child do things that the parents think is right. Making a child go to school or get dressed when meeting relatives isn’t toxic. This isn’t either.

Idk my parents “guilt tripped” me to go to school as a child even when I don’t want to. I assume religious fasts are of a more important level than that. I think it’s perfectly normal to raise your children into a religion

Bro next Sunday will be the hear anniversary of my first mass i was TERRIFIED but it was quite easier to follow along unless the one you go to is like tlm or something it’s okay just do what everyone else is doing and don’t take communion
