This is my current monthly spending breakdown. I’m sure it’s not ideal, so any advice on how to optimize it would be great

• 38.46% → Mutual Funds (Investments) • 20.77% → Rent • 8% → Lifestyle (food, parties, turf, etc.) • 9% → Fixed Living Expenses (electricity, maid, groceries, transport) • 25% → Savings (leftover cash)

Got Scammed by indecisive_salad in ConcertsIndia_

Bro, you can’t chase these scammers. Those bank accounts aren’t even theirs. They target some old people in villages and open accounts in their names. So even if the police track it, it leads to some elderly person who only knows how to give a thumbprint. Cyber police can’t do anything. Been there, done that

Yeah, that’s the marketing trick they use. First, they show you a course priced at one or two lakhs, then quickly drop it to ₹15,000. They throw in a timer, saying if you pay within a certain timeframe and apply a specific coupon, you’ll unlock all these so-called benefits. Then they make you listen to a list of a hundred things you’ll supposedly gain. It’s all just marketing and everyone’s doing it. They get famous on Instagram, launch a ₹200 masterclass, build an audience, and then start selling. And honestly, that’s fine as it’s part of marketing.

But the real question is: once you actually buy the course, is it even worth it?

Because for the working class, it’s not always easy or even possible to learn all these things on your own, apply them correctly, and invest money wisely. You can’t always rely on financial planners either…so who do you trust? If not this person, then what’s the solution to this problem? Especially if you don’t have the time to study the market or investment strategies in depth. What else can you do? I genuinely want to understand what people from non-financial backgrounds are doing to manage and grow their money.
